Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305	SPICE AGE was a late scratching due to a seasonal condition. IMAGE OF ISHBELL moved in on the first turn and checked JONNY MARCO, THOMAS THE TANK and LEGAL EDITION who all lost ground and went back to the rear. IMAGE OF ISHBELL ran onto the heels of STRATIFY on the bend, and STRATIFY lost ground and the chance of a placing. SPICE AGE A & S Frost Rule 64.10 A late scratching due to a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 21.09.06. LEGAL EDITION L.Fornasiere Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 5 days to and including 29.08.06.
Race 2	DIMOCKS RETROVISION - C0 - 305	SEILATAN and SPOTTED ALLEGRO were slow to begin and settled at the rear. CHICITA was checked on the first turn, went back onto SEILATAN and they lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 3	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 520	SHANGHAI and `MORSHARN ROCKET collided on the first corner and lost ground. PURELY AWESOME clipped the heels of THRILLING RUBY on the first corner, lost several lengths and finished well back.
Race 4	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C1 - 305	WOODSTOCK ROCKS was slow away and settled at the rear. CRYSTAL WENDY and DUSTYS REWARD were tightened from the outside on the first corner and went from handy positions back to the rear and finished well back.
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C0 - 305	THRILLING PHOEBE galloped on the back of LITTLE GYMNIST on the first turn and they fell and FOUR MEMORIES was unable to avoid them and also fell. They were examined by the Vet and LITTLE GYMNIST was stood down for 21 days, FOUR MEMORIES for 14 days and THRILLINGB PHOEBE was euthanased. THRILLING PHOEBE A.Udy Rule 82 Suffered injuries in a fall and was euthanased on humane grounds. LITTLE GYMNIST W.Morris Rule 82 Suffered injuries to a foreleg and stood down for 21 days to and including 14.09.06. FOUR MEMORIES G.Frost Rule 82 Suffered hind leg injuries and stood down for 14 days to and including 07.09.06.
Race 6	SPICERS PAPER - C0 - 520	AWESOME CUDDLES was slow to begin and settled at the rear. THRILLING JET was tightened between AWESOME CUDDLES and PATRICIA SHERRY on the first bend, lost several lengths and finished in last place. THRILLING TURBO A.Udy Rule 64 Has a tendon injury and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 31.08.06. THRILLING MIST A.Udy Rule 64 Sore neck muscles and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 30.08.06.
Race 7	WANGANUI SECURITY - C3 - 305	CHARLIE CASH was checked in the race to the first corner and went back to last before recovering to run 4th. WHAT PAVING ran out on the first corner and caused checks to FINN O'RILEY and JUNIOR TIME and they lost all chance of a placing.
Race 8	VITA-POWER EXCEED - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH LEO who drew box 8 ran in on the first turn and checked MR GULLIVER and EXODUS who went back to the rear. HOMEBUSH LEO continued in and soon after checked FLIPPITY JIBBIT who dropped back and the affected runners filled the last three places at the finish.
Race 9	RUSH HIRE WANGANUI - C4/5 - 520	All clear. BIGTIME DALLAS L.Ahern Rule 64 Suffering from dog bites on the neck and stood down for 10 days to and including 02.09.06.
Race 10	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C4/5 - 305	DEADLOCK ran in from the start and near the end of the back straight, caused checks to HAMMER MY HEART, BIG NATE BANNER and ROYAL AUSTY and they never recovered and finished in the last three places. BIGBAD EDNA D.Gough Rule 82 Suffered a stopper pad injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 29.08.06.
Race 11	KEENAN CONCRETE - C2 - 520	OUR JIGSAW was very slow away and lost several lengths. OUR JIGSAW then made up a huge amount of ground to finish in 3rd place. SMILER was away well but was checked on the first corner, went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 12	DIMOCKS FURNITURE COURT - C2/3 - 520	All clear.
Race 13	DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME - C4/5 - 305	HOMEBUSH BITE was a late scratching due to a seasonal condition. TROUBLED TIMES stumbled in its initial stride out of the boxes, settled in last place and stayed there to the finish. SEXY ASSASSIN T.McCracken Rule 64 Sore tricep muscle and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 27.08.06. HOMEBUSH BITE T.McCracken Rule 64.10 A late scratching due to a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 21.09.06 TROUBLED TIMES S.Clark Rule 82 Suffered a webbing injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 14.09.06.
