Judicial report: Weather: Fine J & J Tapiki the Trainers of BONIFIED were fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 2.2 kilograms overweight. ( 1st offence ).
BIGTIME JULIE was stood down for 28 days to and including 12.09.06 for a breach of Rule 80.1 a i after turning its head and running out to other dogs soon after the start. BIGTIME JULIE is also required to Trial under Rule 81.1.

Race 1 WGTN HOUNDS @ HATRICK - C2 - 305 PEPPERONNI and BIGTIME LEE shared the lead into the first corner but collided and dropped back several places losing all chance of a placing.
Race 2 SPICERS PAPER DASH - C4 - 305 MICHELAC was handy early in the race but was checked on the bend, dropped back through the field and finished in 2nd last place. DUSTY'S DIAMOND and THRILLING FLYNN collided on the home turn and lost momentum for a few strides.
Race 3 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C3/4 - 520 ICE LAW was handy in the early running but broke down entering the back straight and failed to finish. ICE LAW suffered a severe hock injury and was euthanased on humane grounds. ICE LAW T.McCracken Rule 82 Suffered a severe hock injury and euthanased.
Race 4 ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C1 - 305 BEST TELL ROSE was the slowest away and was then forced wide on the bend and finished well back.
Race 5 UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C1 - 305 BIGTIME JULIE turned its head and ran out from the start causing checks to other runners. BIGTIME JULIE was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a i and is required to Trial under Rule 81.1. BIGTIME JULIE moved off the rail on the bend, clipped the heels of BIGTIME NIPPA and went back checking SPICE AGE and they finished well back. BIGTIME JULIE T.McCracken Rule 80.1 a i Stood down for 28 days to and including 12.09.06 and is required to Trial under Rule 81.1.
Race 6 EL CHEAPO CARS - C3 - 305 All clear.
Race 7 TOTAL BODY SHOP - C1 - 520 MISS EBONY ROSE moved away from the rail in the race to the first corner and jostled MAGIC STAND and THRILLING RUBY for a few strides. THOMAS THE TANK G & S Hayden Holmes Rule 64 Has hip muscle and pad injuries and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 22.08.06. THRILLING DELPHI A.Udy Rule 82 Suffered a tricep injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 05.09.06.
Race 8 ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C5 - 520 RIDLEY REASON was pushed wide on the first turn over extra ground and was last into the back straight. RIDLEY REASON then recovered to finish on for 3rd placing. KIWI ASSASSIN F.Kite Rule 64 Hads a sore shoulder muscle and stood down for 10 days to and including 23.08.06 SCOTTAGO Garrett & Parata Rule 64 Has a spike wound and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 22.08.06. STAUNCH G.Caffell Rule 64 Has a carpal joint injury and stood down for 10 days to and including20.08.06. LADY CHASE B.Cole Rule 82 Suffered a webbing injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 05.09.06. ROTHVALE REASON B & L Craik Rule 82 Suffered a shoulder injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 20.08.06.
Race 9 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTO'S - C3 - 305 DESTINY'S RUN ran out and BOSSY ACE ran in from the start and THRILLING AMBER, CHARLIE CASH and KWIK SOLVE were tightened and checked with the favourite CHARLIE CASH almost falling. He lost several lengths and all chance of a placing, finishing last.
Race 10 EXCHANGE HOTEL - C4/5 - 305 NITRO LAD was checked on the first turn , lost ground and finished well back.
Race 11 B & P ENGINEERING - C3 - 520 All clear. THRILLING DREAM S.Gommans Rule 64 Has a thigh injury and was presented and stood down` for 5 days to and including 19.08.06.
Race 12 WGTN HOUNDS @ MANAWATU 23RD - C4/5 - 305 HAMMER MY HEART was tightened and checked on the first turn, went back quickly to last and caused a check to GLITZY OPAL on the way. They never recovered and finished in the last two places. REGAL PETE Ex Wanganui on 11.08.06.
