Judicial report: Weather: fine Race 5.Trainer M .J. Lozell (Smart Bart) was fined $100. (second offence) for an admitted breach of rule 69.11 in relation to a 1.7kg variance fromthis greyhounds previous race start on 22/7/06.
Trainer Mr N P Green was given a warning under Rule 71.4 for being late to catch Nadal in race 8.
Trainer Mr W Steele was given a warning under Rule 71.4 for being late to catch Lady Tandia in race 9.
An inquiry was reconvened into complaint laid by Trainer Mr B Craik against officiating veterinary surgeon Mr B Hickman at the Waikato Greyhound race meeting on the 13/7/06 also a complaint was laid against Mr B Craik by Mr B Hickman on the same date.
the complaints where dismissed no charges were laid.

Race 2 NEW SEASON STAKES - C0 - 457 All Clear on side view of tape . No head on from T A B. .
Race 3 MATANGI MAIDEN DASH - C0 - 375 Miss Summer Rose and Hunkaspunk wre slow away. Hunkaspunk and I`ve Got Mail came together after 15 metres with I`ve Got Mail being slightly checked. Santas Prince and Spring Bundy came together for a stride on the home turn. Hunkaspunk raced very wide throughout. .
Race 4 TAMAHERE STAKES - C1/2 - 457 Soduku Solver was slow away. Soon after the start --there was general tightning when Bee Pees Boy crossed over towards the rail. Entering the first turn Hot Dickadee and Bullet Blue came together for a couple of strides. On entering the first turnBee Pees Boy came across squeezing Awesome Hit and Our Freddie resulting in Bee Pees Boy being passed and checked out to the rear. . .
Race 5 IMPROVERS SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1 Delability stood in the boxes and was very slow away. Entering the first turn Smart Bart and Catch A Virus--came together for several strides with Catch A Virus being checked back as Catch Daddy crossed over towards the inside of runners. .
Race 6 IMPROVERS SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 1 Entering the first turn Night Nugget came over and severley checkedAutumn Angel who cannoned into Last Timbah resulting in him ending up in the rear of the field. Astro Sharrie raced wide all the way but ranon well for 2nd. . Sea Master ( L M & J R Nixon) Torn Hip Support Rule 64.14 . 28 days standown to an including 29/8/06. Trainers have advised that this dog will be retired.
Race 7 NEWSTEAD STAKES - C3 - 457 Killer Touch was slow away. Soon after the start Thrilling Monty crossed over towards the running rail and Gentle Lee was checked as Secret Teddy moved out resulting in Gentle Lee coming out and severley checked Thrilling Monty back to the rear. Entering the first turn Mochaccino and Victory Chant came together for several strides resulting in Killer Touch having to change ground. .
Race 8 DINSDALE DASH - C2 - 375 Best Place was slow away. Just after leaving the boxes Maximum and Dreamaqueen came together for a stride. On the point of the home turn San Shin ran wide and forced Suitability over extra ground.
Race 9 RACEWAY SPRINT - C4 - 375 Massachusetts was slow away. Ivan Evans and Togetherness came together at the start for a stride. After 50 metres Ivan Evans and togetherness came together again for several strides with Ivan Evans suffering a severe check. .
Race 10 HILLCREST DASH - C3/4 - 375 At the jump Maxines Beauty crossed over in front of Big Archie. On entering the first turn Big Archie, Maxines Beauty , Glenmire , Leslies Pearl all came together causing jostling for seversl strides causing them to lose ground at that point. On the point of the home turn Big Archie and Junior Time came together for a stride with Leslies Pearl being incovenianced slightly. .
Race 11 BACK HERE THURSDAY 10 AUGUST - C4/5 - 457 My Charlston and Coruba Rush came together for a stride at the start. After 40 metres Cawbourne Baron , Stabila Boss moved out and Coruba Boss and Winsome State moved in resuling in all 4 dogs jostling for several strides . Entering the first turn Thrilling Hubba and Cawbourne Baron came together for a couple of strides.
