Judicial report: Weather: Fine Race 4. Trainer N.P.Green was fined $150.00 for an admitted breach of Rule 69.11 in presenting 'Stooge' 1.3kg overweight from it's previous race start on 15.07.06.

Race 1	STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C0 - 318	Santas Awesome and I've Got Mail were the slowest to begin. Got Hope and Hunkaspunk jostled for several strides at the start which also resulted in severe checks to I've Got Mail and Santas Assassin. Entering the first turn Got Hope moved inwards and came together with Hunkaspunk which had moved outwards resulting in severe checks to both. I've Got Mail was also severely checked in this incident. Santas Awesome and Got Hope came together on the home turn and after straightening for the run to the finish.
Race 2	PUTT AROUND THE ROCKS DASH - C1 - 318	Delability was boxed first due to a current 'hard to box' classification and was observed and reported to box without difficulty. Andwyn was slow and Delability very slow to begin. Selkcahs Legend and Tempest Lass came together after 10 mtrs with both being checked. General tightening after 35 mtrs resulted in checks to Tempest Lass, Just Bank It and Selkcahs Legend. Tempest Lass raced in tight quarters entering the first turn. Our Shereena raced very wide on the first turn. Just Bank It changed ground outwards on the final bend and lost momentum for a stride. A post race veterinary examination of Selkcahs Legend detected no injury.
Race 3	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ STAKES - C1/2 - 527	Awesome Hit, Best Place and Only One Daddy were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Royal Tap and Davron Express came together with both being severely checked. This Time Boots and Only One Daddy came together several times on the first turn and culminated in both being checked on the first bend.
Race 4	CAROL'S TABS' SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C5q - 318 Heat 1	Loaded Gun and Nova Keroma came together after 15 mtrs with both being checked slightly. Loaded Gun moved outwards on the first turn checking itself and pushing Don Paulie outwards and into the path of Kylie's Dream which was checked. Loaded Gun and Stooge came together on the bend with Loaded Gun being checked then bumped outwards to collide with Don Paulie and resulting in another check. A post race veterinary examination of Charlston Time detected no injury.
Race 5	WATERLOO CUP - HEAT 1 - C5q - 527 Heat 1	Johnny, Freddy Magic and Rothvale Reason were the slowest to begin. Big Bad Stefano and Cawbourne Patch came together after 40 mtrs with both being checked slightly. Entering the first turn Winsome Gem was denied clear racing room on the rail. Time Solves ran outwards sharply off the rail on the first turn and severely checked Cawbourne Patch, Johnny and to a lesser extent Rothvale Reason. Big Bad Stefano changed ground outwards on the first bend and lost momentum for two strides. Mo Mistress (J.B.Hastie). In season. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.10. 28 days to and including 24.08.06.
Race 6	CAROL'S TABS' SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 1	Foreign Diplomat and Charlston Kid were the slowest to begin. Foreign Diplomat moved outwards and Charlston Kid inwards after 30 mtrs resulting in their coming together and being checked. Foreign Diplomat raced very wide from the bend to the finish. Maxi The Taxi was tightened and dropped back two lengths between runners in the home straight, finishing 5th.
Race 7	WATERLOO CUP - HEAT 2 - C5q - 527 Heat 1	Dynamic Keroma and Big Sam Junior were the slowest to begin. Hello Awesome ran inwards at the start and checked Dynamic Keroma slightly. Entering the first turn Cawbourne Baron, Ridley Reason and Charlston Ghost raced in tight quarters with Cawbourne Baron being checked. Rhani Reason and Cawbourne Baron came together momentarily after straightening for the run to the finish, when near the rear.
Race 8	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C3/4 - 318	Miss MacSteele was the slowest to begin. General tightening after 40 mtrs resulted in Nasty Streak being checked. Nearing the first turn widespread movement within the field resulted in checks to Origin Teddy and Milena Miss. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in severe checks to Nasty Streak, Flash Shooter, Origin Teddy, Milena Miss and Full Of Flare with Nasty Streak being pushed onto the running rail before rebounding off and falling heavily. This incident caused disruption to several runners. A post race veterinary examination of Nasty Streak detected no injury.
Race 9	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING LTD STAKES - C4 - 527	Rowland Reason, Thrilling Match, Ash's Assassin and Holah A Hypo were the slowest to begin. Sea Drifter ran outwards sharply off the rail on the first turn and carted Rowland Reason and Thrilling Match wide with it. Thrilling Match galloped on the heels of and severely checked Massachusetts on the final bend when near the rear.
Race 10	TRILLIAN TRUST DASH - C1/2 - 318	San Shin was slow and Nadal very slow to begin. Entering the first turn San Shin and King Calibre then San Shin and Jimmitom came together with all being checked. Davron Lass was also checked in this incident with San Shin then running very wide and carting Bullet Blue and Jimmitom with it. San Shin and Bullet Blue ran wide into the home straight when near the rear.
