Judicial report: Weather: Fine M.Mete-Kingi the Trainer of ASTROS LUCK was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms underweight. ( 1st offence )
M.Gardner the Trainer of MOON ROCKET was fined $ 75-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms overweight. ( 2nd offence )
M.McCook was fined $ 20-00 under Rule 88.1 when failing to catch a dog as arranged.
C.Morris the Trainer of GRUNDY was fined $ 150-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms overweight. ( 4th offence )
An inquiry was opened and adjourned into an incident which occurred as the dogs pulled up after a race. It was reported that Mr.M.Boyd had thrown a lead at a dog and he was requested to attend a hearing following the last race but he failed to do so and left the course. This matter will be followed up at a suitable time.

Race 4 | ALBION TAVERN SHANNON - C0 - 297 | There was general tightening soon after the start involving FOG PATCHES, KAITOKE POWER and NANCY'S WISH and they settled well back. MY SEAMUS checked off the heels of KAITOKE POWER on the first turn, ran wide and finished well back. |
Race 5 | PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C2 - 505 | One of the favourites JEN'S LASS was handy to the first corner but then dropped out to finish in last place. JEN'S LASS was examined by the Vet and and cleared of injury. |

Race 7 | SPICERS PAPER - C1 - 297 | SWIFT BRUTUS ran out from the start and crowded several runners with ARANUI TUI being the most affected and she went back to last and stayed well back. |
Race 8 | C BOYCE, VET FOXTON - C0 - 505 | MOON ROCKET was checked on the first bend and went back to last and stayed well back to the finish. |
Race 9 | COMMITTEE STAKES - C1 - 297 | CADMUS ran out from the start and checked LADY PRITI, SWEET SECRET and HOMEBUSH CHRIS who all lost ground. PENS and SWEET SECRET collided on the first corner and PENS fell. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. SWEET SECRET lost all chance in the incident and finished in last place. |
