Judicial report: Weather: Fine / cold Race 2. Following discussion with Trainer J.Charleston, Ashbourne Falcon has been removed from it's 'hard to box' classification, effective immediately.

Race 1 WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE DASH - C1 - 375 Barramundi Flex reared as the boxes opened. General tightening entering the first turn resulted in severe checks to Gray Way, Marble Nugget, Trendy Jill and Just Bank It. Trendy Jill and Gray Way collided on the first turn with both being severely checked. Trendy Jill and Conway Kid ran very wide on the home turn.
Race 2 CAMBRIDGE MAIDEN SPRINT FINAL - C0f - 375 There was no 'head on' coverage of this race available from TAB Trackside. Ashbourne Falcon was boxed first due to a current 'hard to box' classification and was reported to box without difficulty. Indigo and Night Nugget were marginally slow to begin. Ashbourne Falcon changed ground outwards on the first turn and lost a length. Smart Bart raced very wide throughout and covered a lot of extra ground in finishing 4th. Indigo raced wide on the home turn.
Race 3 TAMAHERE STAKES - C1 - 457 There was no 'head on' coverage of this race available from TAB Trackside. Sudoku Solver was the slowest to begin. Thrilling Dane race wide throughout finishing 7th.
Race 4 WAIKATO RACE PIX SPRINT - C4/5 - 375 Charlston Kid, Mr Miargi and Just Hasty were the slowest to begin. Just Hasty and Mr Miargi raced wide around the bend. My Charlston and Charlston Kid came together momentarily on the home turn with Charlston Kid being checked slightly. Dyna Ropati (G.N.Pomeroy). Right caudal thigh muscle bruised / strained. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 14 days to and including 09.08.06.
Race 5 COMMITTEE DASH - C3 - 375 Big Archie and Glenmire were the slowest to begin. Marissa Bale ran outwards at the start and checked itself and Big Archie. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in checks to Marissa Bale, Bee Pees Boy and Glenmire. Bee Pees Boy changed ground outwards on the first turn checking itself and losing 2 lengths. Parra Power ran very wide on the home turn and finished 6th. Velvot Revolver moved inwards on the home turn and hampered Bee Pees Boy for several strides.
Race 6 TAUWHARE STAKES - C2 - 457 Hot Dickadee and Augusta Allen were the slowest to begin. This Time Boots and Thrilling Kelly came together for a stride at the start. Miss Tonsberg moved outwards on the first turn and checked Thrilling Kelly. Thrilling Kelly raced wide for most of the journey and finished 4th.
Race 7 RACEWAY DASH - C4 - 375 Massachusetts, Ivan Evans and Super Deal were the slowest to begin. Miss MacSteele and Origin Teddy came together for a stride at the start. Ivan Evans, Super Deal and Spring Storm raced in tight quarters entering the first turn.
Race 8 T.A.B. PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C4 - 457 Ash's Assassin and Rowland reason were slow to begin. On the home turn Thrilling Bonny moved inwards to the rail and checked itself and Mallee Jack.
Race 9 END OF SEASON STAKES - C3 - 457 Richfield Reason was the slowest to begin. After 40 mtrs Thrilling Buzz, Gentle Lee and Plenty Of Dash came together and jostled for several strides with Thrilling Buzz being squeezed and checked.
