Race 1 | ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C1 - 295 | BRUCE AT XTRA was slow from the outside box settling last before running on for fifth. BEKA'S ROSE ran wide around the bend losing ground to finish last. |
Race 2 | GARDEN CITY CHEM DRY SPRINT - C0 - 295 | SMART WAY was slow to jump with REGAL HERITAGE very slow. Both settled at the rear. Into the bend CLELAND GOLD ran outwards taking OUTSIDE HOYTS and HOMEBUSH VEEJAY wide on the track. Soon after an improving SMART WAY collided with HOMEBUSH VEEJAY and fell. OUTSIDE HOYTS moved inwards turning for home coming in contact with REGAL HERITAGE. They finished at the rear. SMART WAY regained her feet and finished the race, with a post race veterinary check revealing a sore neck with a seven day stand down recommended. SMART WAY (RD Blackburn) sore neck. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 1 August 2006. |
Race 3 | KOLORFUL KANVAS SPRINT - C0 - 295 | HEEZA SPY was slow to jump settling at the rear. When improving into the bend inside BLUE VIRUS he hit the running rail sustaining a severe check to finish last. A post race veterinary check detected no injury. |
Race 4 | BARRONS SUPPLIES DASH - C1 - 295 | OH THOSE EYES was slow settling at the rear. Into the bend MY BEEDLEBOMB was tightened between dogs losing ground. Approaching the home straight TWISTER SISTER was squeezed when vying for the lead losing momentum to finish fourth. Both OH THOSE EYES and MY BEEDLEBOMB finished at the rear. |
Race 5 | $50K PICK SIX LEG ONE - C1/2 - 520 | THRILLING BURN was the slowest to jump and remained midfield throughout. Into the first bend general tightening resulted in CLAN NOVA, GATLIN GETTO and DANCING HARRY receiving checks with DANCING HARRY falling and failing to complete the race. A post race veterinary check revealed a sore left groin with a seven day stand down recommended. CLAN NOVA and GATLIN GETTO lost their chances in this incident and finished at the rear. DANCING HARRY (J&D Fahey) sore left groin. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 1 August 2006. |
Race 6 | GREYHOUND TUESDAY'S FROM 1 AUGUST STAKES - C2/3 - 520 | WHATA PLAN ran out and collided with HOMEBUSH TERRA into the first bend both losing all chance filling the last two placings. |
Race 7 | CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP DASH - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH ALLY, REPEAT OFFENDER and ADIO ROUTINE all came together and lost ground into the first bend with NO VICES receiving a check.. SOMERSET BLUE was forced very wide to avoid these dogs. All of these runners lost their winning chances in this incident. |
Race 8 | ADDINGTON FUNCTION CENTRE STAKES - C2/3 - 520 | HEART OF DESIRE drifted to the rear soon after the jump. Into the first bend MICRO LITE and HOMEBUSH PHIL tangled losing all chance finishing at the rear with HEART OF DESIRE. |
Race 9 | DUAL CODE FRIDAY DASH - C1 - 295 | GILL LOOPY came up with the lids losing all chance finishing last. Into the home straight CLAN IVORY and TAMBOOLI tangled losing ground. They both finished midfield. |
Race 10 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C4 - 520 | This race was delayed by one minute due to a delay with the preceding Australian race. LIGHT POCKETS and UNIQUE MAGGIE were checked into the first bend losing all chance. They finished at the rear with LAGOON LADY who drifted out over the concluding stages. LIGHT POCKETS was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a laceration to the left fore web with a seven day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH BUBBLES (JT McInerney) scratched at Tokoroa GRC meeting on 23 July 2006. Rule 64.12. 21 days up to and including 11 August 2006. LIGHT POCKETS (GA Cleeve) laceration to left fore web.
