Race 3. Lure Driver J.Nixon was questioned re the point at which the lure was eventually stopped ( entrance to the back straight) at the conclusion of the race. His explanation was accepted on this occasion.

Race 1	WWW.AGRC.CO.NZ DASH - C0 - 318	Got Hope underwent a pre race veterinary examination and was cleared to race. Lady Dot was the slowest to begin. Midget Racer and Got Hope came together at the start and jostled continuously for 40 mtrs with both suffering severe checks. Kapai Rua moved outwards after 50 mtrs and was galloped on from behind by I've Got Mail. Got Hope and Lady Dot came together entering the first turn with both being severely checked. Nutty Squirrel moved inwards on the first turn and severely checked itself, Kapai Rua and Indigo. Indigo changed ground outwards on the bend and severely checked itself and Midget Racer. I've Got Mail moved outwards on the home turn and severely checked Got Hope and Kapai Rua. Karuba Daze (D.L.Annette). Ex Waikato GRC on 13.07.06.
Race 2	RODEWALD HART BROWN LTD DASH - C3/4 - 318	Rhani Reason was the slowest to begin. Origin Teddy and Miss MacSteele came together several times prior to the first turn with both being checked as a result. Entering the first turn Miss MacSteele rebounded outwards off Time Over Boots and severely checked Parra Power. Time Over Boots moved outwards on the bend and carted Miss MacSteele wide with it.
Race 3	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING LTD STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Mo'em Down, Time Solves, Ridley Reason and Hugo Simpson were the slowest to begin. Cawbourne Patch ran inwards at the start and checked Mo'em Down. Friendly Virus and Hugo Simpson came together on the first bend with both being severely checked. Entering the back straight Cawbourne Patch moved to the rail and severely checked Friendly Virus which then drifted back into the path of Mo'em Down which was also severely checked.
Race 4	STREETS ICE CREAM MAIDEN SPRINT FINAL - C0f - 318	Delability and Ashbourne Falcon were boxed first due to current 'hard to Box' categorisations. Bentley Beau and Delability were slow to begin. Thrilling Pirate ran inwards at the start and hampered Take The Micky for several strides. Take The Micky and Hunkaspunk came together on the first turn with Hunkaspunk being severely checked and moving outwards causing Coruba Jane to be checked also and take evasive action by running wide. Coruba Jane ran wide on the home turn.
Race 5	CAROL'S TABS' DASH - C5 - 318	Mr Miargi and Maxi The Taxi were the slowest to begin. Just Hasty changed ground outwards on the first turn and covered extra ground. Mr Miargi moved outwards on the home turn and hampered Maxi The Taxi.
Race 6	PUTT AROUND THE ROCKS STAKES - C0 - 527	Hoksilato, Dreams Are Free and Token Enforcer were the slowest to begin. Hoksilato galloped on the hind quarters of Gatlin Ghost on the first bend with both being severely checked and losing all chance. Dreams Are Free raced very wide around the first bend. Nearing the end of the back straight Token Enforcer made contact with the hind quarters of Thrilling Dane resulting in severe checks to both runners. Blade Slayer was inconvenienced in this incident. A post race veterinary examination of Kapai Rita detected an injury requiring a 5 day stand down from racing. Kapai Rita (K.L.Fairbrother). Partially torn nail left fore. Rule 82.1. 5 days to and including 19.07.06.
Race 7	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C2 - 318	Positive Force, Bullet Blue and King Calibre were the slowest to begin. Best Place moved outwards on the bend and carted Homebush Lee wide and severely inconveniencing that runner. Gatlin Ghost raced very wide around the bend and covered a lot of extra ground. Suitability (J & L Nixon). Right long head of triceps sore. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 10 days to and including 23.07.06.
Race 8	OXY-SHOT NEW ZEALAND STAKES - C2/3 - 527	Killer Touch and Thrilling Jen were the slowest to begin. Thrilling Bonny and Thrilling Jen came together for a stride on the first bend with both receiving a slight check. After entering the back straight Massachusetts moved outwards and checked then hampered Thrilling Bonny for several strides.
Race 9	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) LTD STAKES - C1 - 527	Sudoku Solver and Thrilling Class were the slowest to begin. Bet She Can and Ivals Folly came together at the start. On the first turn Thrilling Ruby moved inwards to rail and across the path of Ivals Folly severely checking that runner which then moved outwards and collided with Thrilling Class which fell heavily. Sudoku Solver was inconvenienced in this incident. A post race veterinary examination of Thrilling Class detected no injury.
Race 10	'WE RACE WEDNESDAY 19TH JULY' DASH - C1 - 318	Andwyn, Just Bank It, Bubba Hotep and Marble Nugget were the slowest to begin. Andwyn, Bubba Hotep and Just Bank It jostled for several strides after 30 mtrs. Nearing the first turn Bubba Hotep and Forever Running came together with both being checked slightly. Entering the first turn Smart Zac changed ground outwards
