Judicial report: Weather: Fine. A complaint has been lodged by Mr B Hickman officiating veterinary surgeon against Mr B Craik a licensed person under rules 38.1 B and 88.1P.
A complaint was also lodged by Mr B Craik against Mr B Hickman officiating veterinary surgeon.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned in these matters to a later date.

Race 1 CAMBRIDGE HURDLE SERIES FINAL - C1/2hf - 457 Ngapui Girl was slow away. Aranui Flash and Dancing Banshee crossed over soon after the start and checked Running Tiger who recovered well and raced generously thereafter..
Race 2 MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 375 Clutters jumped awkwardly from the boxes and checked Purple Mamba and Santas Assassin. Entering the first turn Karuba Daze fell and checked Clutters who recoved to run 4th. Karuba Daze was found to have broken down sustaining injuries to the (right fore distal complete traverse fracture of both radius and ulna) Karuba daze was humanly euthanased at the trainers request.
Race 3 DINSDALE DASH - C2 - 375 Homebush Lisa was observed to be hard to box. Charlston Flash was slow away. Entering the first turn Charlston Flash checked off the heels of Bullet Blue losing ground but ran on well for 4th. HoveDale (A Cleaver) torn right graslis muscle. Rule 64.14. 28 days up to an including 6-8-06. No vet certificate supplied.
Race 4 HILCREST STAKES - C3/4 - 457 Rowland Reason Bee Pees Boy and Thrilling Neo came together at the start jostling each other for several strides. Rowland Reason raced very wide around the top bend and into the home straight. Malee Jack (favourite) raced towards the rear of the field ran on for 5th.. A post race veterinary examination of Malee Jack detected an injury requiring a 5 day standown from racing. Malee Jack (B & L Craik) Mid metacarpal right front dorsal aspect spike wound between metacarpals 3 & 4 . Rule 82.1 - 5 days up to an including 17-7-06.
Race 5 NEWSTEAD SPRINT - C1 - 375 Gray Way jumped awkwardly at the start and checked Conway Kid. Gray Way and Mrs Goodley came together for a couple of strides 60 metres after the start. Last Timber and Gray Way jostled for a couple of strides entering the first turn. Andwyn checked off the heels of Mrs Goodley on the top bend.
Race 6 TAMAHERE STAKES - C1 - 457 Gatlin Breeze was slow away. after 50 metres Barramundi Flex crossed over causing some general tightening. Entering the first turn Gatlin Breeze checked back off Maggy Jay losing several lengths but ran on well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 7 KARAPIRO DASH - C3 - 375 Big Archie was the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Velvot Revolver/ Stabila Boss \ Hostile Arch \ and Lady Tandia all came together causing general tightening at that point Richfield Reason ran into a gap but was severley squeezed in the tightning causing the dog to fall. A subsequant veterinary examination of Richfield Reason found no abnormalities.
Race 8 WAIKATO RACE PIX SPRINT - C4/5 - 375 Charlston Kid and Mr Blackout where slow to begin..
Race 9 BRUNTWOOD STAKES - C2 - 457 Thrilling Monty \ Hot Dickadee and Augusta Allen where slowest away. Entering the first turn Thrilling Monty checked off the heels of Glenmire losing several lengths. On the top bend Hot Dickadee and Augusta Allen came together with both being jostled for several strides.
Race 10 T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C4/5 - 457 Thrilling Tear and Gentle Lee where slowest to begin. Soon after the start Thrilling Hubba crossed over in front of Gentle Lee causing that dog to check off its heels. Entering the first turn Sea Drifter came out and made contact with Thrilling Hubba resulting in Sea Drifter turning sideways and losing ground.
