Judicial report: Weather: Fine A.Udy admitted a charge and was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rules 111.1 and 88.1 o when she failed to notify by the required time that she had taken over the training of THRILLING RUBY.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned into an allegation that Mr M.Dallas had used abusive language to the Assistant Steward Mr M.O'Regan.

WAXEYE was checked entering the final bend, lost ground but then recovered to finish well for 3rd place. |

HOMEBUSH FALCON and THRILLING GUY bumped together for a couple of strides on the first corner and lost momentum momentarily. THRILLING SASSY N.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from an abductor muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 08.07.06. |
| Race 10 | MICKY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 520 | SUZY SANDSTORM moved across quickly from the start and checked GOOD GRACIOUS ME and SEXY BEAST who lost ground. The favourite MISS EBONY ROSE checked off the heels of DANCING HARRY on the first bend and lost ground. She was again checked entering the back straight when JONNY MARCO moved in and was never a chance of a placing after that. |
| Race 11 | DOUBLE S MOTORDROME - C3 - 305 | The winner HOMEBUSH LEGEND ran in from the start and bumped MADAM CHOLET. On the first turn, HOMEBUSH LEGEND again moved in and checked MADAM CHOLET who lost ground but recovered to finish 2nd. |
| Race 12 | SPICERS PAPER DASH - C1 - 305 | ANGEL EYES moved away from the inside in the race to the first turn and caused checks to SWEET SECRET and IMAGE OF ISHBELL who dropped back to the rear. HOMEBUSH LEE checked off the heels of CRYSTAL HISTORY on the bend, moved out and checked MINNIE LASS and NAKI EXPRESS and forced them out wide on the track and they finished well back. |
| Race 13 | DIMOCKS FURNITURE COURT - C3/4 - 305 | The 2nd dog WAITAHA RUA raced very wide throughout and covered considerable extra ground. KINAWHATA FLYER and HAMMER MY HEART collided on the bend, lost several lengths and finished at the rear. |
