Race 2. This race started 3 mins later than scheduled due to an unexplainable delay in the hurdle lure carriage being changed over to the usual racing lure. This matter has been referred to the Club for attention in order to prevent a reoccurrence.
**************
Race 4. Due to communication breakdown between the Trainer and Club Race Secretary (K.Wells) and other relevant factors, the scratching of Dumblestick (L.D.Martin) was not received prior to the Official Scratching time for the meeting and therefore was recorded as a 'Late Scratching' for TAB purposes. Stewards inquired into the circumstances and have accepted the explanations from those involved on this occasion. The Club has also undertaken to review their 'contact' options for scratchings.
