Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C2 - 305	GENEROUS THIEF was scratched due to injury. EXODUS was scratched and started in race 4. One of the favourites GAZZA'S DELIGHT was slow to begin and never made up the lost ground, finishing towards the rear. CATERING KING faltered soon after the start and dropped out to finish a long distance behind the other runners. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus injury. GENEROUS THIEF M.Brown Rule 64 Suffering from a metacarpal injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 26.06.06. EXODUS gained a start in race 4. CATERING KING K & J Benson Rule 82 Suffered from gracilus muscle injuries and stood down for 28 days to and including 11.07.06.
Race 2	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 520	UNRUFFLED was checked on the first bend, lost ground but then recovered to finish in 4th place. RAVE REVIEW did not appear to be galloping correctly and finished in last place. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with a slight gracilus muscle injury. RAVE REVIEW J & J Tapiki Rule 82 Suffered a slight gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 18.06.06.
Race 3	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C2/3 - 305	TARTARE SAUCE was a late scratching due to injury. FIRST SAMPLE was scratched due to injury. BIGTIME JIM was scratched due to acidosis. Trainer P.Knights was fined $ 50-00 after presenting HOMEBUSH DASHER 1.5 kilograms overweight. The race was all clear. TARTARE SAUCE L.Fornasiere Rule 68 A late scratching due to a pad injury, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 18.06.06. FIRST SAMPLE D.Kettlewell Rule 64 Has a tail injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 09.07.06. BIGTIME JIM J & J Tapiki Rule 64 Suffering from acidosis and stood down for 28 days to and including 10.07.06.
Race 4	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C2 - 520	PASO PRINCESS was scratched due to injury. THRILLING JEN and AWESOME HIT were bumped and pushed wide on the first turn, went back to the rear and never recovered, finishing well back. PASO PRINCESS J & J Tapiki Rule 64 Suffering from soreness in the hind quarters, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 17.06.06.
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C4f - 305	FANTASY SHIFTER and TRISTAN FLEX were handy to the first turn but were checked and dropped back quickly causing checks to LADY BRIANA and BANKSIDE BELLA and they never recovered, finishing in the last four places.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE HEAT 1 - C3q - 520 Heat 1	NGALA and PELICAN CREEK were scratched due to injury. ROYAL TAP was scratched and started in race 8. DALLAS MAJOR moved across in the race to the first turn and tightened MANAWA NUI, EARL MCROBERTS and FLAMING PRINCE. who lost a little ground. DALLAS MAJOR dropped out to finish several lengths last and then collapsed after the race and was examined by the Vet and cleared fit for future racing with no stand down required. NGALA J & J Tapiki Rule 64 Suffering from soreness to the gracilus muscle and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 17.06.06. ROYAL TAP Gained a start in race 8. PELICAN CREEK G & S Hayden-Holmes Rule 64 Suffering from a tail bone injury and presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 17.06.06.
Race 7	WANGANUI SECURITY - C4/5 - 520	HOMEBUSH GORDON was tightened against the rail in the race to the first turn and dropped out to last and never recovered.
Race 8	VITA POWER-EXCEED HEAT 2 - C3q - 520 Heat 1	DESTINY'S RUN was scratched due to suffering from diarrhoea. THRILLING JESS was checked on the final bend, lost several lengths and all chance of a placing. Soon after, COMANCHE BRAVE received a slight check when racing in a handy position and lost a little ground but recovered to finish in 4th place. DESTINY'S RUN W.Kite Rule 64 Suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 10 days to and including 21.06.06.
Race 9	TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C3/4 - 305	WHATA SHAME, HOMEBUSH SNIPPET, GUS THE BUILDER and BOSSY ACE jostled together for several strides early in the race and THRILLING MARK who was just in behind was checked and fell. THRILLING MARK was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with cuts and bruises.. THRILLING MARK M.Sutton Rule 82 Fell and suffered cuts and abrasions and stood down for 5 days to and including 18.06.06.
Race 10	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C5 - 305	REAL SILENCE moved across soon after the start and caused jostling to THRILLING DELTA, CRUZMORE, NOWHERE TO RUN, BIGBAD EDNA, and VITA LASS with favoured runner BIGBAD EDNA being the most affected and she lost several lengths and all chance.
