MILANION was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a split right hind webbing with a fourteen day stand down recommended. MILANION (JF Allen) right hind split webbing. | Race 2 | WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ STAKES - C3 - 520 | The favourite WHISKY LODGE LAD hit the hindquarters of the leader MICRO LITE at the end of the back straight, losing ground. In the home straight when again challenging MICRO LITE, they collided again both losing ground. WHISKY LODGE LAD finished sixth with MICRO LITE fourth. |
| Race 3 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C3/4 - 520 | UNIQUE MAGGIE was checked when KAKAMA attempted to come off the rails around the first turn and veered out badly taking LOUIE MCDODD to the outside of the track. UNIQUE MAGGIE and LOUIE MCDODD both lost their chances in this incident while KAKAMA battled on for fourth. WHATA PLAN was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a right hind gluteal muscle tear with a stand down of twenty days recommended. Into the first bend BRILLIANT HAND was checked drifting to last before running on strongly for third. At the end of the back straight an improving PICNIC DAY was tightened by TOKENISM losing momentum finishing on for fourth. FALCON FLEX (AC Roberts) left hock soreness. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 15 June 2006. |
| Race 6 | WILSONS SPORTS BAR & TAB DASH - C4 - 295 | HOMEBUSH BRADLEY was slow to jump before driving along the rail around the bend to finish on for third. WEE SWEETIE ran outwards after the jump and tightened WILD BILL and ASTON ACE. They lost all chance filling the last three placings. WEE SWEETIE was subject to a post race veterinary check with nothing detected. |

JUST ROCKIN struck the rail into the bend when tightened. He lost momentum finishing last. A post race veterinary check reveal no injury. |
