Judicial report: Weather: Rain The weighing scales were checked for accuracy several times during the kennelling procedure and were determined to be accurate on each occasion.

Race 8. Following reweighing by Stewards, Positive Force (N.P.Green) was found to be 1.4kg overweight from it's previous race start on 21.05.06 therefore breaching Rule 69.11. As a result of consultation with the Trainer this infringement has been set down for a Hearing on 08.06.06 at the AGRC offices.

An inquiry has been opened under Rule 38.1(b) in relation to a 1.1kg weight variance recorded by the greyhound Bailed Out (S.P.Clark) not being notified to Stewards by Weighing Officials.

Trainers and Handlers are reminded of Rules 68.13 to 68.18 (inclusive) pertaining to the Strapping (application and removal) of greyhounds at race meetings with particular attention to Rule 68.13.

Race 1 CAROL'S TABS' STAKES FEATURE - C5 - 527 Rothvale Reason, Time Solves and Hello Awesome ( fav and winner) were the slowest to begin. Warnie changed ground outwards on entering the back straight and checked itself and Rothvale Reason. Sonny Bill Allen (G.N.Pomeroy). Swelling and soreness right front stopper pad area. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 10 days to and including 12.06.06.
Race 2 STREETS ICE CREAM MAIDEN SPRINT FEATURE - C0 - 318 Clutters, I've Got Mail and Nutty Squirrel were the slowest to begin. I've Got Mail moved outwards slightly after 25 mtrs and checked itself and Nutty Squirrel with I've Got Mail then rebounding inwards and checking Clutters. Nearing the first turn Ghost Nugget (winner) moved outwards off the rail severely checking Bright Token and forcing I've Got Mail inwards to hit the running rail. I've Got Mail then rebounded outwards and collided with the hind quarters of Bright Token. This interference resulted in I've Got Mail falling heavily and in doing so Nutty Squirrel was checked again when trying to avoid this fallen runner. A post race veterinary examination of I've Got Mail detected no injury. Ghost Nugget moved outwards on the home turn and came together with Smart Zac which was slightly checked.
Race 3 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C5 - 318 Hypoumunga was the slowest to begin then moved outwards between runners on the bend checking itself, Comical Ali and Charlston Time. Maxi The Taxi and Charlston Time came together twice entering the first turn.
Race 4 OXY-SHOT NEW ZEALAND LTD STAKES - C1/2 - 527 Killer Touch (winner) reared as the boxes opened and lost 2 lengths. Thrilling Flojo was slow to begin. Tomahawk Down ran inwards at the start and checked Thrilling Delphi. Tomahawk Down clipped the heels of Homebush Lisa on the first bend with both being checked slightly. Nearing the end of the back straight Killer Touch pushed through on the rail causing the outward movement of Homebush Lisa and Tomahawk Down onto Davron Express which became unbalanced and fell heavily. Thrilling Flojo was checked when having to avoid this fallen runner. A post race veterinary examination of Davron Lass detected no injury.
Race 5 WWW.AGRC.CO.NZ DASH - C4 - 318 General tightening and bumping shortly after the start resulted in severe checks to Charlston Chill, MacMcLeod, Jimmytheone and Origin Teddy. Jimmytheone moved to the rail after 60 mtrs and inconvenienced MacMcLeod (fav and 5th). Erickson Bale underwent a pre race veterinary examination due to dew claw injury sustained in the kennels and was cleared to race.
Race 6 PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) LTD SPRINT FEATURE - C2 - 318 Jimmitom and Glenmire were the slowest to begin. After 60 mtrs Lady Tandia moved outwards and checked Jimmitom. Entering the first turn Miss MacSteele moved outwards across the heels of Quiver Lip checking itself and Lord Maximus. Miss MacSteele and Lord Maximus came together on the first bend with both being severely checked. Jimmitom (G.Calverley). Reopened spike wound on left hind leg. Injected and bandaged. Rule 82.1. 14 days to and including 17.06.06. (Registration papers to be presented to Stewards for endorsement).
Race 7 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING STAKES - C3/4 - 527 Rowland Reason was the slowest to begin. Shooshla moved outwards nearing the first turn and checked Not Waiting. Shooshla moved outwards on the first turn and caused severe checks to This Time Boots and Thrilling Blonde. Ash's Assassin (G.B.Darcy). Chronic dehydration and antibiotic treatment. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days to and including 12.06.06.
Race 8 STEPHEN & MATTHEW SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 Hypo Lomu was the slowest to begin. Foul Play and Augusta Allen came together for a stride after 15 mtrs. Homebush Westie and Foul Play jostled for several strides on the bend. Augusta Allen made minor contact with the running rail on the home turn without any cause. Positive Force moved inwards on the home turn and came together with Hypo Lomu for a stride.
Race 9 NORTHERN DIGITAL PHOTOFINISH DASH - C2/3 - 318 Danny Hand, Just The Don and Marissa Bale were the slowest to begin. Poetical ran inwards at the start and severely checked itself and Reserve Decision (fav and winner). Reserve Decision moved inwards after 30 mtrs and severely checked Davron Lass with Reserve Decision then moving outwards shortly after checking Full Of Flare and hampering Final Objective. Entering the first turn Davron Lass moved outwards off the rail and severely checked itself and Final Objective. Davron Lass changed ground outwards on the home turn and clipped the heels of Final Objective. After entering the home straight Full Of Flare endeavoured to move outwards into the path of Danny Hand and was checked for doing so before resuming it's original path immediately and finishing 6th. Big Archie (K.Sutch - Jones). Sore left hip support muscle. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 10 days to and including 12.06.06.
Race 10 STEPHEN & MATTHEW SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 Cosmic Eclipse was the slowest to begin. Goldfinger Jewel moved outwards after 40 mtrs and came together with Bee Pees Boy which was slightly checked. Cosmic Eclipse and Gray Way came together for a stride on the bend when at the rear with both being checked. Gray Way ran outwards on the home turn when near the rear and severely checked itself and Cosmic Eclipse.
