As per instructions from GRNZ to the AGRC the first five placegetters in both heats of the 'Commercial Plumbing - Duke Of Edinburgh Silver Collar' were required to undergo post race veterinary examinations prior to the 'Box Draw for the Final' which was conducted following Race 9. No injuries or abnormalities were detected.

Race 1 BATTLE OF THE SEXES SPRINT - R/A - 318 Miss MacSteele and Alassandro were the slowest to begin. San Shin moved outwards after 30 mtrs and checked Bassai Dai. Entering the first turn San Shin ran outwards and severely checked itself, Bassai Dai and Maxine's Beauty with San Shin then remaining very wide and losing all chance. The winner Aztec Keroma established a new Track Record of 18.11sec. Bullet Blue (D.L.Annette). Polydipsion and polyuric. Skin infection. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 30 days to and including 30.06.06.
Race 2 BOX 24 STAKES - HEAT 1 - C1q - 527 Heat 1 Aria Allen was slow to begin. Certainly jumped awkwardly, checked Mochaccino slightly and lost 2 lengths. Cheeky Bonnie and Astro Sharrie jostled for several strides prior to first turn with both being checked slightly. Dancing Harry was tightened between runners and severely checked on the first turn. Mochaccino moved outwards across the heels of Dancing Harry on the first bend and checked itself in the process.
Race 3 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DUKE OF EDINBURGH SILVER COLLAR-HEAT 1 - C2dq - 779 Heat 1 Commercial Plumbing / Duke Of Edinburgh Silver Collar - Heat 1. Blue Fern and Dinah Washington were the slowest to begin. Stinger Bart and Prince Toshack (fav and 4th) came together for a stride after 30 mtrs with both being checked slightly. Dinah Washington (2nd) moved outwards on the first bend and checked itself and Stinger Bart. Stinger Bart and Rivette Reason (3rd) came together for a stride entering the home straight on the first lap. Leaving the back straight for the final time, Zambora Kezman when in second position, moved inwards to the rail and checked Cawbourne Baron which drifted back through the field to finish 7th. The first five placegetters underwent post race veterinary examinations and no injuries were detected.
Race 4 WWW.AGRC.CO.NZ DASH - C4/5 - 318 Hostile Arch was the slowest to begin. Jimmytheone ran inwards after 30 mtrs and checked itself and Comical Ali. Stooge and Coruba Rush came together for a stride after 35 mtrs with Coruba Rush being checked. Hostile Arch moved outwards on the first turn and severely checked itself and Don Paulie. Shortly after Jimmytheone galloped on the heels of Comical Ali twice with both being severely checked.
Race 5 BOX 24 STAKES - HEAT 2 - C1q - 527 Heat 1 Night Raid, Killer Touch and Criteria were the slowest to begin. Smart Thomas (fav and 2nd) ran inwards after the start and checked itself, Thrilling Zoe (winner) and Unruffled. Approaching the first turn Smart Thomas continued to move inwards causing tightening and severe checks to itself, Thrilling Zoe and Unruffled. Killer Touch endeavoured to move outwards off the rail on the first turn and severely checked itself and Criteria.
Race 6 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT FEATURE - C3 - 318 Reserve Decision (fav and 5th) and Mr Miargi (winner) came together for a stride at the start and again after 30 mtrs. Just The Don clipped the heels of Full Of Flare on the first turn then shortly after Reserve Decision endeavoured to run outwards off the rail severely checking itself and Full Of Flare. Reserve Decision and Rock It Hound came together for a stride on the home turn.
Race 7 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DUKE OF EDINBURGH SILVER COLLAR-HEAT 2 - C2dq - 779 Heat 1 Commercial Plumbing / Duke Of Edinburgh Silver Collar - Heat 2. Shining Comet, Thrilling Match and Mo'em Down were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Thrilling May (winner) moved inwards to the rail and severely checked Oizdon Spice (fav and 5th). Entering the home straight on the first lap Thrilling Larisa moved outwards and checked Oizdon Spice. Shortly after Mo'em Down ran inwards sharply and clipped the heels of Thrilling Match with Mo'em Down being severely checked and Thrilling Match to a lesser degree. In the home straight on the first lap Oizdon Spice ran into the back off Thrilling Larisa and was checked. Shining Comet (2nd) and Thrilling Match (4th) came together on the home turn (final lap) with both being checked. The first five placegetters and Mo'em Down underwent post race veterinary examinations and no injuries were detected. Bet She Can ( T. McGillivray). Race 8 CONEY STANLEY EVENTS STAKES - HEAT 1 - C3/4q - 527 Heat 1 Thrilling Tear, Ash's Assassin, Tourist Jack (fav and 4th) were the slowest to begin. Ash's Assassin and Tourist Jack came together for several strides after the start with both being checked slightly. Holah A Hypo moved inwards to the rail on the first bend and severely checked Thrilling Tear which clipped the heels of Holah A Hypo just prior to this incident. Entering the home turn Rowland Reason moved outwards when in second position and checked itself and Ash's Assassin.
Race 9 CONEY STANLEY EVENTS STAKES - HEAT 2 - C3/4q - 527 Heat 1 Kaimai Gold, Scottago, Thrilling Sally, Music Lesson and Kola's Glory were all slightly slow to begin. Kaimai Gold moved outwards after the start and checked itself, Scottago and Thrilling Sally.
Race 10 'WE RACE SUNDAY 4TH JUNE' - C1/2 - 318 Jimmitom, Best Place and Foul Play were the slowest to begin. Loaded Gun ran outwards at the start and checked itself and Nervous Wave (fav and winner). Suitability ran inwards after the start and checked itself and Nervous Wave. Suitability moved outwards after 40 mtrs and checked Jimmitom and Best Place. Loaded Gun and Homebush Blade jostled several times between the start and the first turn. Loaded Gun, Homebush Blade and Foul Play came together for several strides entering the first turn. Homebush Blade changed ground outwards and Suitability inwards on the bend. Ina Tizzy moved outwards on the home turn taking the path of and checking Foul Play and itself.
