Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer RD Blackburn was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when IN YOUR FACE weighed in 1.1kgs overs his last race weight.

| Race 1 | ADVANCE PERFOMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520 | ANGEL OF HARLEM was tightened soon after the jump settling last making ground to finish fifth. Around the top bend PALONE struck the hindquarters of IMA LLOYDIE, falling as a result with a trailing MULBERRY TRICK hurdling the fallen dog. Both finished the event and were subject to a post race veterinary check. Nothing was found amiss with MULBERRY TRICK however PALONE had spike wounds to the right thigh with a seven day stand down recommended. PALONE (M Robinson) right thigh spike wounds. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 1 June 2006. |
| Race 2 | POWER FARMING SPRINT - C1 - 295 | TEN YEARS AFTER was slow from the outside box running wide around the bend to finish second to last. The favourite HOMEBUSH JOCK was tardy jumping from the inside box settling last on the rail finishing on late for fifth. |
| Race 3 | BILLS BAR & BISTRO DASH - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH TERRA drifted to last after the jump before improving along the rail, finishing strongly in the straight for second. Into the bend IN YOUR FACE was tightened between dogs losing ground. Into the home straight he came in contact with OH THOSE EYES before finishing on for fourth. MY BEEDLEBOMB and EL ASSASSIN came together around the bend when racing at the rear never improving. |
| Race 4 | BARRONS SUPPLIES STAKES - C0 - 520 | FENG SHUI was slow to jump settling last finishing sixth. Soon after the jump SMOOTH GIRL almost fell when running out from the rail and tightening those on her outer. She finished near the rear. Into the bend THRILLING BURN was tightened by FANTA CLAWS both sustaining checks. They ran on well, FANTA CLAWS for third and THRILLING BURN fourth. Immediately after this incident STOMY KNIGHT and MAURITIUS came together with STORMY KNIGHT falling. He regained his feet and finished the event. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. RAILS BOOKMAKER (Lawrence/Lockett) right hind groin sprain. Rule 64.12. Veterinary certificate supplied. 7 days up to and including 30 May 2006 |
| Race 5 | ROBBIES BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C1 - 295 | TWISTER SISTER was very slow to jump from the inside box settling last never improving. |
| Race 6 | SUPER PETS DASH - C1 - 295 | BLAZIN A TRAIL drifted after the jump but improved around the bend to finish on for second. |
| Race 7 | FLAIR STAKES - C0 - 520 | GOLDEN HORSE was slow from the outside box settling last beating one home. |
| Race 8 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT MAIDEN SPRINT FINAL - C0 - 295 | This race was put back two minutes by raceday control. In the stirup CLAN MARY LOU escaped her handler and ran 70 meters down the track before returning to her handler. She was examined by the veterinarian and cleared to race. CRAFTY CARSON jumped to the lead from the boxes to win easily. Into the bend HEEZ BACK IN and CLAN MARY LOU tangled losing all chance filling the last two placings. The favourite HOMEBUSH BUBBLES was tightened around the bend losing ground to finish sixth. |
| Race 9 | CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP STAKES - C1 - 520 | NIGHT RAID, LITTLE GIRL EYE and TURBO'S RETURN tangled into the first bend losing ground. They filled the last three placings. Following the race trainer GA Cleeve sought to view the start of race. On review it was observed that the lids opened correctly but on reaching their full extension they were unsteady |
| Race 10 | GO THE CRUSADERS DASH - C2 - 295 | HOMEBUSH ZARA ran in sharply on leaving the boxes checking HEART OF PROMISE, MIDNIGHT FLUTTER and POTENTIAL ROGUE. All of these dogs finished well back. |
| Race 11 | KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C0 - 520 | ONYA BROOM was slow to jump settling last. VILLETTE and ZAZZA BELLE tangled into the first bend losing ground. These dogs filled the last three placings. ROCHDALE LAD drove to the lead around the first bend before slowing at the end of the back straight allowing the favourite MCCRACKENS BOY to rail under him. Turning for home they came together with MCCRACKENS BOY getting up to win from ROCHDALE LAD. ROCHDALE LAD was examined by the veterinarian and found to have a wound on the left hind foot consistent with having been galloped on. |
| Race 12 | BACK HERE WEDNESDAY DASH - C2 - 295 | HAUNTED HALL and ROVING LIGHT were slow from the inside boxes running on late for second and third. Around the bend ASTRO JIMMY ran wide taking JAZZMAN wide. They finished at the rear. |
