Race 1	STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C0 - 318	Bradbree Lass, Lily Longlegs and Bright Token were slow and Clutters very slow to begin. That Bloke ran inwards at the start and caused tightening and checks to Lily Longlegs, Bright Token and Karuba Daze. After 40 mtrs Lily Longlegs moved outwards and severely checked itself, Karuba Blaze and That Bloke. Entering the first turn Karuba Blaze and That Bloke jostled for several strides with both being severely checked. Karuba Blaze ran very wide on the first turn and carted That Bloke with it.
Race 2	WWW.AGRC.CO.NZ DASH - C1 - 318	Sea Master, Catch A Virus and Gray Way were the slowest to begin. Bee Pees Boy ran inwards and Sea Master outwards at the start causing tightening and checks to themselves, Catch A Virus and Gray Way. Augusta Allen and Homebush Heather came together briefly after the start. Entering the first turn Lord Maximus (winner) galloped on the hind quarters of Dreamaqueen (fav and 2nd) with both being severely checked. On the first turn Bee Pees Boy moved inwards and galloped on the hind quarters of Lord Maximus with both being severely checked. On the bend Sea Master changed ground outwards across the heels of Augusta Allen and checked itself in the process. On the bend Catch AVirus ran wide and checked itself and Gray Way. On the home turn Bee Pees Boy moved outwards and came together with Homebush Heather resulting in both being checked slightly.
Race 3	OXY-SHOT NEW ZEALAND LTD STAKES FEATURE - C5 - 527	Mo Mistress (winner) and Mo'em Down were the slowest to begin. Prince Toshack and Exceptional Kola came together for a stride at the start with both being checked slightly. Nearing the first turn Big Sam Junior and Coruba Rush came together with both being checked slightly. Entering the first turn Exceptional Kola moved inwards to the rail and checked Prince Toshack. Entering the back straight Coruba Rush changed ground outwards across the heels of Mo'em Down and lost 2 lengths.
Race 4	REASON FINANCE LTD DASH - C3/4 - 318	Velvot Revolver was the slowest to begin. Nearing the first turn Erickson Bale and Full Of Flare came together with Erickson Bale being checked. On the bend Velvot Revolver galloped on the heels of and severely checking Parra Power resulting in both runners moving outwards and into the path of Full Of Flare and Erickson Bale. All of these four runners were severely checked and lost all chance. A post race veterinary of Parra Power detected an injury requiring a 30 day stand down from racing. Parra Power (C.J.Derecourt). Strained right hock. Rule 82.1. 30 days to and including 23.06.06.(Registration papers to be presented to Stewards for endorsement).
Race 5	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING LTD STAKES - C3/4 - 527	Ash's Assassin, Thrilling Match and Rowland Reason were the slowest to begin. Rowland Reason and Hello Awesome came together for a stride at the start as did Ash's Assassin and Thrilling Match. Thrilling Match drifted slightly on the first bend and was then tightened between runners and hampered on the final bend and prior to running on well for 3rd. Rowland Reason raced wide in the back straight and covered extra ground.
Race 6	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT FEATURE - C3 - 318	Entering the first turn Mr Miargi pushed through on the rail forcing and checking Poetical outwards and into the path of Jimmitom and Rocket Hound with these three runners being severely checked. Big Archie and Time Over Boots took evasive action in this incident by running wide. Poetical moved outwards off the rail after entering the home straight and checked Big Archie.
Race 7	WWW.EXPOSURES.CO.NZ - WEBSITE HOSTING STAKES - C2 - 527	Maximum, King Calibre and Thrilling Monty were the slowest to begin. Nearing the first turn Thrilling Monty ran inwards and Maximum outwards with these runners coming together and Thrilling Monty being severely checked. Entering the first turn Dyna Sandra and Stinger Bart (winner) came together for a stride.
Race 8	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) LTD DASH - C5 - 318	Mr Blackout and Just Hasty were the slowest to begin. General tightening after 50 mtrs resulted in checks to Dyna Ropati, Delta Belle, Kylies Dilema, Just Hasty and Foreign Diplomat. Nearing the first turn Maxi The Taxi (fav and 4th) and Mr Blackout jostled for several strides and checked each other.
Race 9	NORTHERN DIGITAL PHOTOFINISH STAKES - C1 - 527	Criteria was slowest to begin. Tempest Lass ran inwards at the start, checked Criteria and carted that runner inwards. Tempest Lass and Criteria came together entering the first turn and then jostled for several strides. Entering the first turn Auditor's Folly moved inwards and severely checked itself and Ultra Sting (fav and 5th). The galloping action of Auditor's Folly appeared to be irregular thereafter and a post race veterinary examination detected no injury.
Race 10	'WE RACE SUNDAY 28TH MAY' DASH - C2 - 318	Plenty Of Dash and Glenmire were the slowest to begin. Reserve Decision (fav and 4th) ran outwards and Camcaff inwards after the start causing tightening and severe checks to themselves, Lady Tandia, Maxine's Beauty and Plenty Of Dash (winner). Entering the first turn Reserve Decision moved inwards to the rail and severely checked itself , Victory Chant and Camcaff. Lady Tandia and Maxine's Beauty took evasive action from this incident by running wide.
