Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C3 - 295	The favourite HOMEBUSH JESSIE was checked into the bend losing ground before running on for fifth. OHOKA FLIRT ran out from the inside box taking REGIMENT JEWEL wide around the bend. They finished at the rear.
Race 2	DAVE KOBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C3 - 295	MONKEY BAY checked out off TUDOR QUEEN into the bend when near the rear running very wide to finish last.
Race 3	HAMPDEN TAVERN STAKES - C2/3 - 520	I'M LAUGHING NOW was slow to jump settling last. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH PHIL checked out off LOUIS MCDODD running wide taking HOMEBUSH JUSTIN and I'M LAUGHING NOW with him. They filled the last three placings. CLAN NOVA (HG Cairns) diarrhoea. Veterinary certificate suppplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 25 May 2006.
Race 4	KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C2 - 520	WHATA DARLING and BRUNO DIABLO were checked into the first bend settling well back. Soon after JAZZMAN ran out off SUPREME DENIM'S hindquarters losing momentum. These dogs filled the last four placings.
Race 5	PICK SIX LEG ONE DASH - C4 - 295	MISSING FERN was slow from the inside box running on for third. WEE SWEETIE jumped on terms with the field before drifting out to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed right hock pain with a fourteen day stand down recommended. CANDIAC BALE ran wide around the bend losing all chance to finish second to last. Race 6	INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD SPRINT - C4 - 295	JANE'S COMMANDO was a shade slow to leave the boxes but recovered well to finish second. ASTON ACE received a check racing into the first bend and settled at the tail of the field never improving. MRS DOO (WJ Cairns) late scratching at kennelling with a split right hind webbing. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 14 days up to and including 30 May 2006. HOMEBUSH MIKEY (JT McInerney) right tricep muscle injury. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 26 May 2006.
Race 7	CHALLENGE OPAWA DISTANCE - C0d - 732	HOLA CHICA was checked back to last around the first bend. She made up ground to finish fifth.
Race 8	EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB STAKES - C5 - 520	The favourite RUBBLE was checked around the first bend settling last before finishing on in the home straight for fifth. HOMEBUSH COYOTE (JT McInerney) late scratching at Christchurch GRC meeting on 12 May 2006. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 21 May 2006.
Race 9	BACK HERE FRIDAY DASH - C5 - 295	HOMEBUSH DOUG, CEEJAY'S MAGIC and PAPPILONG were tightened into the bend losing ground with a trailing SPECIAL DOONS colliding with PAPPILONG. They all finished behind the placegetters. CLASSIC BOOM (LJ Waretini) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 12 May 2006. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 21 May 2006.
Race 10	CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C4 - 520	WHATA PLAN was slow to jump settling last. When improving into the first bend she and CLAN EBONY came together losing ground. They filled the last two placings.
