Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305	The meeting was put back one race for the entire programme due to a technical problem with the tote. The race was all clear.
Race 2	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C1 - 520	TRUE PACE was scratched due to injury. KERRY GLEN moved out approaching the first corner and caused checks to RUSH HOUR and COMANCHE BRAVE who lost several lengths and all chance. TRUE PACE J.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from pectoral muscle inflamation and stood down for 28 days to and including 05.06.06.
Race 3	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C2 - 305	SHEEZA CORKA, TARTARE SAUCE and HOMEBUSH BEE were checked on the first corner, dropped out to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 4	TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C2 - 520	AWESOME HIT was a late scratching due to dehydration. This event was put back 5 minutes at the request of race day control due to a false start and subsequent late start at Otago Harness. SMILER, ARANUI GOLD and ASTRAKHAN jostled together and lost ground on the first corner. ARANUI GOLD moved in and checked SMILER entering the last bend and SMILER dropped out to finish in last place. AWESOME HIT P.Freeman Rule 64 A late scratching due to suffering from dehydration and stood down for 28 days to and including 07.06.06.
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C3 - 305	TEDDY TYLER and IMA FREEMAN were jostled early in the race and settled at the rear. SAILAH JAYNE was handy until the bend when she was checked, went back to last and stayed there.
Race 6	WANGANUI OAKS FINAL - R/Af - 520	WAXEYE bumped THRILLING KIM onto THRILLING JANE on the final turn and they lost some momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 7	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C3/4 - 520	WIND SURFER was checked back to last in the race to the first turn and stayed there for the remainder of the race. The favourite AULD SON was the slowest away and then ran wide on the first bend. AULD SON then ran on well for 3rd place.
Race 8	WANGANUI DERBY FINAL - R/Af - 520	HUGO SIMPSON was scratched due to an injury. The favourite MICKI was a little slow away and was then checked on the first turn and could not make up the lost ground. HUGO SIMPSON P.Freeman Rule 64 Has a carpus injury and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 14.05.06.
Race 9	WANGANUI VET SERVICES - C2/3 - 520	CECILIA HENRY was scratched and started in race 8. All clear.
Race 10	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - C5 - 520	WINSOME STATE was slow away and was then checked on the first turn, ran wide pushing EXCEPTIONAL KOLA wide on the track over extra ground. WINSOME STATE was again checked entering the last bend and finished a long last. He was examined by the Vet. and cleared of injury.
Race 11	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C2 - 520	PALSY O'CEIRIN was checked on the first corner, moved out and forced HOMEBUSH GOLIATH, THRILLING CLEO and ROYAL TAP wide over extra ground.
Race 12	KEENAN CONCRETE - C4/5 - 305	Due to the Technical problems with the T.A.B,this race started 26 minutes later than the advertised last race start time. ROLE MODEL was scratched due to injury. TIMTAGEL STAR and ILLEGITIMATE collided on the last corner and finished at the rear. ROLE MODEL P.Freeman Rule 64 Has a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 06.06.06.
