Judicial report: Weather: Fine T.Tipene was fined $ 75-00 under Rule 81.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting HIGHMOR TERE 2.5 kilograms underweight. This was a 2nd offence.
Race 8 was abandoned under Rule 76.6.

Race 1 METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305 CALM ILLUSION and SWAPSY were slow to begin and SWAPSY then had to check off the heels of HOMEBUSH DIESEL on the first corner. PASO PRINCESS ran wide on the bend but recovered to win well.
Race 2 HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C0 - 520 T.Tipene was fined $ 75-00 for presenting HIGHMOR TERE 2.5 kilograms underweight. This was a second offence. AWESOME CUDDLES moved in on the first bend and checked DEADLY PRINCE and soon after checked THRILLING SPICE. who both lost ground and finished well back.
Race 3 MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C0 - 305 ASTRO MICKEY and TUGS TIP collided soon after the start and TUGS TIP was pushed wide. NIAGARA CRESENT and SKATEBOARD collided on the bend and NIAGARA CRESENT went back to the rear.
Race 4 TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C1 - 520 CALM OSTI and FORTIFIED HOPE were scratched due to injury. JUST A DRIP and NOSE THE TUNE were the slowest away and JUST A DRIP had to check over the heels of HOMEBUSH DIVA on the first corner. He recovered to make ground for 4th place while NOSE THE TUNE ran wide around the first bend and tailed the field home by several lengths. CALM OSTI P.Clark Rule 64 Has a webbing injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.05.06 FORTIFIED HOPE J & J Tapiki Rule 64 Suffering from sores and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.05.06.
Race 5 THE RADIO WORKS - C2 - 305 MR GULLIVER moved in from the start and crowded FINN O'RILEY for a couple of strides. FINN O'RILEY was then tightened between runners on the first turn, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. WINCHESTER MISS moved out from the start and pushed MR GULLIVER and STYLISH DUDE out and they lost a little ground.
Race 6 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 305 The lure stopped just short of the boxes due to an electrical problem and the dogs were removed from the boxes while the problem was fixed and the lure was tested. The race started 5 minutes late. The favourite BEST TELL ROSE was the slowest away and then ran wide on the bend and finished well back. MISS LUCK was handy to the first turn but was checked and dropped back to the rear and stayed well back.
Race 7 KEENAN CONCRETE - C2 - 305 This race was started 3 minutes behind schedule. TYRONES AWESOME led to the first turn but ran wide pushing ARANUI JAZZ wide on the track and they finished well back.
Race 8 WANGANUI VET SERVICES - C0 - 305 The lure stopped after approxamately 200 metres and although there were four dogs pronounced fit to run, the Stewards abandoned the race in the interests of the dogs and the betting public as they would have been asked to run over 720 metres in a short space of time. It was soon after established the the lure wire had partially separated which caused it to stop and as a result the meeting was put back one hour to enable repairs and testing to take place. HOMEBUSH LUCKY P.Knights Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 7 days to and including 10.05.06.
Race 9 WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - C1 - 305 SPICE AGE moved in on the first corner and checked LONDON BOBBY and CALL ME AWESOME. LONDON BOBBY dropped out to finish several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a hock and toe injuries. CALL ME AWESOME moved out on the home turn and badly checked NGAPUHI GIRL and SPICE AGE and they finished well back. LONDON BOBBY M& A Sutton Rule 82 Suffered hock and toe injuries and stood down for 21 days to and including 24.05.06.
Race 10 BRYCE FRANCES GRAPHICS - C2 - 520 BOY RACER and ROB ROY were checked on the first corner, went quickly back to the rear and never recovered. SEXY BEAST was pushed wide on the first corner and lost ground.
Race 11 MORE FM 92.8 - C0 - 305 MY SINBAD and TOKEN DIAMOND were late scratchings when found to be dehydrated on removal from the kennels to race. ROYAL TAP, SON OF SARABI, INSIDE BLUE and ARANUI SPEEDY came together and jostled soon after the start. MY SINBAD K.Hanover Rule 68.26 A late scratching due to suffering from dehydration and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.05.06. TOKEN DIAMOND P.Freeman Rule 68.26 A late scratching due to dehydration and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.05.06.
Race 12 DIMMOCKS FURNITURE COURT - C3 - 520 HARRY THE HORSE began very awkwardly, lost several lengths and finished well back in 2nd last place. ICY MIDGET was also slow away, ran wide on the bend and finished last.
Race 13 SPICERS PAPER DASH - C3 - 305 All clear.
Race 14 DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME - C1 - 305 WHAT PAVING was a late scratching due to injury. HOMEBUSH BASMATI was a late scratching due to dehydration The race was all clear.. WHAT PAVING L.Bell Rule 68.26 A late scratching due to a hock injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.05.06. HOMEBUSH BASMATI P.Freeman Rule 68.26 A late scratching due to dehydration and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.05.06.
Race 15 DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME - C1 - 305 PAPAKA was handy early in the race but was checked on the bend and dropped back to finish in the rear group.
