Cambridge Raceway ON FRIDAY 28 Apr 2006

Weather:
Track: Good Good
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Weather: Fine Race 6. Following pre race day advice from Trainer P.Taylor, Stewards sought clarification from the Club Secretary (L.Henley) in relation to the selection of Mr. Taylor's two runners, Westonair (No 6) and Conway Kid (1st Reserve) into Race 6 (C0q - heat 4) when three other heats were being run which therefore created an alleged Breach of Rule 46.5. Mrs. Henley advised Stewards that an error in the selection / placement of Mr. Taylor's runners into the same race / heat had occurred for which the Club was responsible and that the matter had since been discussed with Mr. Taylor.
Stewards interviewed Mr. Taylor prior to the race meeting at which time he expressed a definite desire not to lodge an official complaint / objection in relation to the matter.
Stewards considered all information available to them and decided to proceed with a charge against the Club which had admitted to a Breach of Rule 46.5.
The decision of the Stewards took into account the applicable rule, comments of Mr. Taylor, Mrs. Henley and the excellent cooperation and record of the Waikato G.R.C in dealing with such matters.
Stewards considered Penalty under Rule 89.2 resulting in a formal reprimand to the Club and a fine of $50.00.

Race 7. Trainer, G.N.Pomeroy (Augusta Allen) admitted the breach and was fined $50.00 (first offence) under Rule 69.11 due to a 1.4kg over weight variance from the previous race start of this greyhound on 12.04.06.
************
Race 9. Trainer, P.Raven ( McTaggart) admitted the breach and was fined $50.00 (first offence) under Rule 69.11 due to a 1.3kg over weight variance from the previous race start of this greyhound on 20.04.06.
