Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS SPRINT - C1 - 305	GENEROUS THIEF moved out from the start and checked HOMEBUSH BITE. GENEROUS THIEF continued out and checked HOMEBUSH LEGEND back to last on the first turn and soon after checked MADAME RHODE who also dropped back to the rear. The winner LITTLE INTENT moved in approaching the straight entrance and the 2nd dog HOMEBUSH BITE was slightly checked and lost a little ground.
Race 2	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C1 - 520	ARANUI FLASH was scratched due to injury. LUCABELLA finished last for the 4th time in a row and cramped badly after the race which she has suffered from regularly. The Trainer was spoken to by the Steward in charge and advised that LUCABELLA is to be retired so no further action was taken. ARANUI FLASH M.Boyd Rule 64 Suffering from a hind leg injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 27.04.06.
Race 3	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C2 - 305	MR BRIGHTSIDE was slow to begin and lost four lengths. TYRONES AWESOME moved out on the bend and checked himself and also checked TARTARE SAUCE and the favourite THRILLING FLYNN and they lost all chance of a placing.
Race 4	TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C0 - 305	IRON WOMAN was scratched due to injury. CONWAY KID began awkwardly and lost several lengths and finished well back. IRON WOMAN T.McCracken Rule 64 Has a toe injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 15.05.06. MARIOS MATE L.Fornasiere Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 5 days to and including 30.04.06.
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C3 - 520	The race was all clear.
Race 6	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C3/4 - 305	NOWHERE TO RUN, THRILLING DELTA and HOMEBUSH LEO jostled together on the bend and lost ground as a result.
Race 7	KEENAN CONCRETE - C1/2 - 520	DUSTY NERO was scratched due to injury. Two of the favourites TEE TEE NINTY and OPAWA LIZ were the slowest away and they then collided on the first turn with TEE TEE NINTY being pushed very wide. They never recovered and finished well back. DUSTY NERO L.Fornasiere Rule 64 Has a toe injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 04.05.06.
Race 8	VITA POWER-EXCEED - C4/5 - 520	THRILLING NEWTON was scratched due to injury. The race was all clear. THRILLING NEWTON W.T.Hodgson Rule 64 Has a tricep muscle injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 13.05.06.
Race 9	WANGANUI VET SERVICES - C3 - 305	SECRET PRINCE moved in racing to the first corner and crowded UNO A WHISPER and IMA FREEMAN for a few strides before going clear.
Race 10	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - C5 - 305	WHATA SHAME and THRILLING MARK jostled together for several strides in the race to the first corner and lost ground. WINSOME TODD and LADY BRIANA who were outside were pushed wide over extra ground in the incident and finished in the last two places.
