Judicial report: Weather: Fine RW Cairns, authorised person in charge of CLAN BAILEY was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when the dog weighed in 1.1kgs over his last race weight.
RH Adcock, trainer of EMULATE was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when the dog weighed in 1.2kgs over her last race weight.
D Kingston, trainer of MERCEDES HOPE was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when the dog weighed in 1.1kgs under his last race weight.

Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520	SOMERSET BLUE was slow from the inside box settling last. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH JOCK ran outwards colliding with SOMERSET BLUE and HOLA CHICA all three losing ground. HOLA CHICA ran on late for fourth. SNAZZY SHAZ (C Mitchell) lame right fore. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 24 April 2006.
Race 2	GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING SPRINT - C1 - 295	The short priced favourite BLAZIN A TRAIL was very slow from the inside box. When improving into the bend he checked out off BOMBER BELLE running wide taking MOO MOO ME and BLING BLING KING almost off the track. They finished at the rear. BLING BLING KING was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 3	FITZGERALD ARMS DASH - C1 - 295	BRUCE AT XTRA was slow to jump settling at the rear. Into the bend OH THOSE EYES checked out off CLAN IVORY colliding with the favourite PARADISE ECHO. Turning for home CLAN IVORY and PARADISE ECHO came together, both filling the minor placings. BRUCE AT XTRA ran on late for fifth. LABELLED URGENT (MJ Flipp) left hock sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 21 days up to and including 9 May 2006.
Race 4	KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C0 - 520	HIDDEN SECRETS was slow to jump settling well back. Into the first bend BENTLEY BEAU ran outwards colliding with HIDDEN SECRETS both losing ground. Into the back straight THRILLING RUBY was tightened sustaining a severe check settling near the rear. Turning for home NO VICES and HIDDEN SECRETS tangled. As a result of these incidents the dogs filled the last four placings.
Race 5	CANTERBURY GREYHOUND O.T.B. DASH - C1 - 295	All clear.
Race 6	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER SPRINT - C1 - 295	TEDDY JUNCTION ran wide into the bend taking SLAVE DRIVER very wide on the track. Both finished well back.
Race 7	DAVE EMERSON CONSULTANCY STAKES - C0 - 520	Into the first bend MISS FINE LINE, BAGTOWN BOY and THRILLING TOPSY came together with MISS FINE LINE falling taking no further part in the event. A veterinary check revealed no injury with no stand down recommended. ZAZZA BELLE (RD Blackburn) left hind tibia injury. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 24 April 2006. (papers yet to be endorsed) LADY MAUREEN (M&J Hill) stood down at Otago GRC on 13 April 2006, required to undertake a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.
Race 8	SHIRLEY VETERINARY SPRINT - C1 - 295	BELLE OF PAREORA was slow to jump settling last. Into the bend HALF A PENNY was checked coming back on TRACTOR JACK and BELLE OF PAREORA. They were the last three home.
Race 9	HAMPDEN TAVERN DASH - C2 - 295	HEAD PREFECT was forced wide around the bend by AWESOME KEV. He finished a distant last with a post race veterinary check revealing a sprained right wrist with a 21 day stand down recommended. MIDNIGHT FLUTTER (Hart/Taylor) stood down at Otago GRC on 13 April 2006. Rule 80.1. 28 days up to and including 10 May 2006 and to undertake a satisfactory trial. HEAD PREFECT (MJ Hill) right wrist sprain. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 10 May 2006.
Race 10	GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND STAKES - C1 - 520	OZARK MOON and second favourite EMULATE came together soon after the start with both dogs dropping to the rear of the field. OZARK MOON remained at the rear with EMULATE making ground late for fifth.
Race 11	HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEOFF MCKENZIE DASH - C2 - 295	Into the bend I'M LAUGHING NOW, JUST AWESOME and DISCLOSE tangled losing ground to fill the last three placings.
Race 12	CHALLENGE OPAWA STAKES - C0 - 520	GYPSYS MATE who finished last ran back up the home straight from the lure escaping both catcher and handler. He was caught at the top of the straight on the harness track.
Race 13	STARWOOD IN ASPEN STAKES - C1 - 520	Into the first bend SANDAVE and THRILLING LAURA came together losing ground. They finished fourth and fifth. Into the back straight ROCHDALE BLUE ran wide and eased drifting out to finish a distant last. A post race veterinary checked revealed nothing amiss. ROCHDALE BLUE was ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 81.1. ICE FERN (C Mitchell) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 15 May 2006. ROCHDALE BLUE (MM Grant) satisfactory trial ordered in accordance with Rule 81.1.
Race 14	ROBBIES BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C2 - 295	CECILIA HENRY was tightened soon after the jump settling at the rear running on for fourth. Into the bend MYSTERY SOLVED was tightened coming back on RUFF STUFF. They finished at the rear with PETITE JEWEL who faltered turning for home. A post race veterinary check revealed a serious left wrist injury with a 28 day stand down recommended. COCONUT ICE (C Mitchell) in milk. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 24 April 2006. PETITE JEWEL (IS Kaye) left wrist injury. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to and including 17 May 2006. (papers yet to be endorsed)
Race 15	BACK HERE TOMORROW DASH - C2 - 295	JEMALONG EASTERN was tightened between dogs into the bend drifting out to finish last.
