Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305	COLETRAINE was scratched due to injury. LEGAL EDITION was a late scratching due to an ear injury. OUR SMART BUDDY moved out in the race to the first corner and checked GOLDSPOON, PEPPERONNI, SWAPSY and SHANGHAI who all lost ground and filled the last four places some distance behind the other runners. BIGTIME LEE cramped badly after the race, was examined by the Vet and cleared. COLETRAINE S & J Cole Rule 64 Suffering from an eye injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 27.04.06. LEGAL EDITION L.Fornasiere Rule 64 A late scratching due to an ear injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 28.04.06.
Race 2	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C0 - 520	THRILLING SPIKE was scratched due to injury. PRINCE APITI was very slow away and settled well back. THRILLING SHADOW was tightened by outside runners in the race to the first corner and those two dogs tailed the field by several lengths throughout the race. THRILLING SPIKE A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from a tendon injury and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 22.04.06.
Race 3	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 305	NOOKYS WINK moved in on the first corner and tightened MADAME RHODE and HOMEBUSH DIESEL and they lost ground and finished in the last three places.
Race 4	TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C3 - 305	The favourite MICHELAC was checked back to last on the first corner and never recovered, finishing near the rear. GAS MAN G.Phillips Rule 82 Suffered from an eye injury and a slight pad injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 23.04.06.
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C1 - 520	The favourite THRILLING ZEUS was sharing the lead on the first corner but eased and dropped bvack several places before finishing on for 3rd place. THRILLING ZEUS was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b i and is required to trial under Rule 81.1. THRILLING ZEUS K.Walsh Rule 80.1 b i Failed to persue the lure and stood down for 28 days to and including 16.05.06 and required to trial under Rule 81.1.
Race 6	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C2 - 305	The favourite ELLABEYOND jostled with STYLISH SUSIE for several strides on the bend and dropped out to finish in last place. The second favourite SECRET PRINCE settled last and then ran very wide on the bend and finished near the rear.
Race 7	KEENAN CONCRETE - C2/3 - 520	THRILLING JESS was scratched due to injury. HOMEBUSH GOLIATH galloped on THRILLING LIZ on the first corner and they dropped back to the rear and lost all chance of a placing. FLAMING PRINCE checked off the heels of another runner on the first corner, moved out and forced PALSY O'CEIRIN to race wide over extra ground and they finished well back. THRILLING JESS G.Atwood Rule 64 Suffering from a leg muscle injury, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 22.04.06.
Race 8	VITA POWER-EXCEED - C3/4 - 305	ALLEGRO COMET was scratched due to injury and is retired. TIGER STRIKE was checked back to last on the first corner and never recovered, finishing in that position. ALLEGRO COMET G.Phillips Rule 64 Suffering from an injury and stood down for 30 days to and including 17.05.06. Now retired.
Race 9	WANGANUI VET SERVICES - C4/5 - 520	TIME TO REMEMBER, EXCEPTIONAL KOLA and THRILLING SAM were all scratched due to injury. DYNAMIC KEROMA and BIG BAD STEFANO jostled together on the first corner, moved out and caused checks to ANTONI BEE and BUDDY HAND who was pushed wide. ROTHVALE REASON moved in entering the back straight and checked KIWI ASSASSIN who lost several lengths but recovered to run on for 4th place. TIME TO REMEMBER J.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 24.04.06. EXCEPTIONAL KOLA D.Schofield Rule 64 Suffering from a slight hock injury, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 23.04.06. THRILLING SAM W.T.Hodgson Rule 64 Suffering from a leg muscle injury, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 22.04.06.
Race 10	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - C5 - 305	WINSOME TODD, NOBLE OSTI and GLITZY OPAL jostled together at the rear when starting on the bend and lost ground. They finished in the last three places.
