Judicial report: Weather: Fine Race 2. Prior to this race Mrs B.Craik was warned by Stewards under Rule 71.2 for being late for pre- race preparation.

Race 9. Trainer T.A.Green (Raheny Reason) advised Stewards that he considered the 603 mtr distance of this race to far for this runner which had been ordered to undergo a post race veterinary examination which detected no injury. Mr Green's comments were noted.

Race 1 WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - MAIDEN SPRINT FINAL - C0f - 318 Autumn Angel, Blade Slayer and Kaipai Rua were the slowest to begin. Autumn Angel and Blade Slayer came together on the first turn with Blade Slayer then becoming unbalanced and falling heavily. A post race veterinary examination of this runner detected an injury requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. Blade Slayer (T.McGillivray). Injury to left elbow. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 25.04.06.
Race 2 PACIFIC SHEET & COIL (NZ) LTD DASH - C2 - 318 Camcaff ran inwards at the start and checked Loaded Gun (fav and 4th). Loaded Gun moved outwards from a tight position entering the first turn severely checking Camcaff and hampering Bullet Blue. Rhani Reason (B & L Craik). Seasonal condition. No vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 08.05.06.(Registration papers to be presented to Stewards for endorsement).
Race 3 CAROL'S TABS' STAKES - FINAL - C1f - 527 Hot Dickadee, Auditor's Folly, Astro Sharrie and Thrilling Affair were the slowest to begin. Suitability and Thrilling Class came together for a stride after 30 mtrs with Thrilling Class (4th) being checked slightly. Thrilling Class and Auditor's Folly came together for stride entering the first turn. Thrilling Class was tightened between runners and checked leaving the back straight.
Race 4 STREETS ICE CREAM SPRINT - FINAL - C2f - 318 Roulette Reason (fav and 4th), Farmer Benson and Davron Express were the slowest to begin. Indefinite and Big Archie came together at the start with Big Archie being checked slightly. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in severe checks to Indefinite and Farmer Benson.
Race 5 'PICK SIX HAS JACKPOTTED' STAKES - C2/3 - 527 Thrilling Cleo and Rialto Reason were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Shooshla and Massachusetts came together for a stride with Shooshla being checked slightly. Shining Comet (winner) pushed outwards in the home straight forcing Milena Miss outwards which in turn checked Hardern First which was racing on its outer. Virtuoso (P.W.Cleaver). Gained start in Race 7.
Race 6 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C3 - 318 Togetherness clipped the heels of and checked Marissa Bale on the first turn.
Race 7 TERRY KNIGHT AUCKLAND FUTURITY - R/A - 527 Pattys Answer (fav and 3rd) was very slow to begin and made up ground well. Kaimai Gold was slow to begin. Kaimai Gold and Thrilling Neo came together at the start with both being checked. Thrilling Neo was tightened and checked on the final bend. Thrilling Hugo ( K.Walsh). Sore right tensor fascia lata muscle. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 21.04.06.
Race 8 OXY-SHOT NEW ZEALAND DASH - C5 - 318 Troubled Times ran inwards at the start and checked Comical Ali and Stooge. Comical Ali then made contact with the hind quarters of Troubled Times with both being checked. Comical Ali then proceeded to move outwards and checked Spring Storm.
Race 9 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DISTANCE FINAL - C0df - 603 Under Time ran wide on the first turn. Raheny Reason when in the leading bunch leaving the back straight, came back onto and checked Tourist Jack (fav and 3rd). Raheny Reason compounded at this stage of the race to finish last. A post race veterinary examination of this runner detected no injury (refer Judicial).
Race 10 'WE RACE SUNDAY 23 APRIL' DASH - C4 - 318 Bailed Out, Shifnal Chief and Ash's Assassin were the slowest to begin. Osbourne and Go Tyler Go came together entering the first turn with both being slightly checked. Just Hasty and Go Tyler Go came together for a stride on the home turn.
