Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C2/3 - 520	All clear.
Race 2	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C5 - 305	SOUTHBROOK STAR was scratched due to injury. BEST TELL PIE was a late scratching due to a webbing injury. VITA LASS was very slow to begin losing four lengths and she tailed the field throughout to finish last. SOUTHBROOK STAR D.Kettlewell Rule 64 Suffering from a wrist injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 04.05.06. BEST TELL PIE M & A Sutton Rule 68 A late scratching due to a webbing injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 27.04.06.
Race 3	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C2 - 520	THRILLING BLUE was slow to begin and then ran very wide on the first bend and tailed `the field throughout. PALSY O'CEIRIN ran in sharply from the start and crowded COCKNEY ASSASSIN and SMILER who settled towards the rear and stayed back.
Race 4	TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C4/5 - 305	BANKSIDE BELLA was one of the slowest to begin and followed the field throughout.
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS WANGANUI CLASSIC - HEAT 1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	The start was delayed slightly while the Vet examined and cleared WINSOME SECRET fit to start after it was suspected the dog was limping . OROUA ROCKER ran in from the start and checked HOMEBUSH LUKE, DINAH WASHINGTON and THRILLING LIZ who lost ground. HOMEBUSH LUKE fell heavily after the finish line, was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI CLASSIC - HEAT 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	THRILLING JESS ran in sharply from the start and crowded inside runners with HOMEBUSH GORDON and WINSOME GEM being the most affected and they settled towards the rear.
Race 7	VITA POWER-EXCEED - C2 - 305	SECRET PRINCE moved away from the rail on the first corner, ran wide on the bend and then finished well for 3rd placing. BIGTIME JIM, SAILAH JAYNE, TEDDY TYLER and SISTER SAINTLY jostled together several times in the race to the first corner, settled back and finished in the last four places.
Race 8	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C5 - 520	BUCK'S REWARD was tightened and checked back to last on the first corner and never recovered, finishing at the rear.
Race 9	WANGANUI VET SERVICES - C2/3 - 305	CATERING KING was away well but was checked twice in the race to the first corner, dropped back quickly to the rear and never recovered, finishing last.
Race 10	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - C4 - 305	SEXY ASSASSIN moved across from box 8 in the race to the first corner and checkedTHRILLING JACK and ALLEGRO COMET who both lost ground and any chance of a placing.
