B.Cole was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting BIGTIME DALLAS 1.4 kilograms overweight.
HOMEBUSH WAYNE Rule 80.1 b Failed to persue and stood down for 28 days to and including 19.04.06. Also required to trial under Rule 81.1.

LEGAL EDITION moved in on the first corner and pushed PEPPERONNI into the rail and severely checked that runner. PEPPERONNI was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C1 - 520	ARANUI MIST was presented 1.1 kilograms overweight and the Trainer M.Boyd was fined $ 50-00. HOMEBUSH LUCKY ran out from the start and forced ARANUI FLASH wide. HOMEBUSH LUCKY continued to run wide around the first bend, dropped out to last and stayed there.
Race 3	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C4/5 - 305	KINAWHATA FLYER was checked on the first corner, went back to last and never recovered.
Race 4	TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C1 - 305	SWAPSY was scratched due to injury. SWIFT BRUTUS moved out from the start and forced ARANUI TAMY wide on the track and they finished well back. SWAPSY T.Denbee Rule 64 Has a toe ligament injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 02.04.06
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C0 - 520	PACEY MACEY missed the start by several lengths but made up ground well to finish 4th. The winner CALM OSTI moved in on the home turn and checked the 2ND dog THRILLING MIST and this possibly cost that runner a winning chance.
Race 6	WANGANUI VET SERVICES - C0 - 305	WESTONAIR and JO BLOGGS were scratched due to kennel cough. CALM ILLUSION was very slow away but recovered well to run 3rd. STRATIFY and YULE TIDE were badly checked on the first corner and finished several lengths behind the other runners. The winner BIGTIME STORM moved in approaching the straight entrance and checked ICY DIGIT and SPICE AGE who lost the chance of a placing. WESTONAIR P.Taylor Rule 64 Suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 10 days to and including 01.04.06. JO BLOGGS K.Mischefski Rule 64 Suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.03.06.
Race 7	VITA POWER-EXCEED - C1 - 305	DISSIPATE and HOMEBUSH MCGIVAR were slow away and settled back. WINCHESTER MISS moved in soon after the start and jostled NAKI EXPRESS and HOMEBUSH WAYNE for a couple of strides. NAKI EXPRESS was checked and lost ground on the first corner. HOMEBUSH WAYNE was midfield in the race to the first corner but then eased and dropped back to near the rear and stayed there. HOMEBUSH WAYNE was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b and is requird to trial under Rule 81.1 before its next start. Race 8	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 520	One of the favourites SMILER was checked on the first corner and dropped back to last. SMILER then recovered to finish well for 4th place.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE - C0 - 305	CONWAY KID was scratched due to kennel cough. B.Cole the Trainer of BIGTIME DALLAS was fined $ 50-00 when presenting the dog 1.4 kilograms overweight. ICY BIGGLES missed the start by several lengths and lost all chance of a placing. TEENY WEENY, ASTRO MICKEY and AWESOME CUDDLES were all badly checked on the bend and lost several lengths. SKATEBOARD and TEENY WEENY were tightened and checked on the first corner as outside runners moved in. Race 10	DIMOCKS FURNITURE COURT - C1 - 305	HOSTILE GIRLIE was scratched due to injury. The favourite FINN O'RILEY was checked and lost ground early in the race but recovered to run 2nd. SECRET PRINCE moved ground on the bend and severely checked HOMEBUSH TYSON who lost all chance in the incident. HOSTILE GIRLIE P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 18.04.06.
Race 11	GUTHRIE BOWRON - C2 - 520	TEE TEE NINTY was scratched due to injury. NGALA clipped the heels of ARANUI GOLD on the first corner and lost 3 lengths. TARTAN FLYER and ARANUI GOLD jostled together for a few strides entering the back straight and lost momentum. They finished well back. TEE TEE NINTY Garrett and Parata Rule 64 Has a back injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.03.06.

YALLAH ROSE and DUSTY'S DIAMOND were tightened against the rail in the race to the first corner, lost several lengths and finished well back.
