Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS DASH - C1 - 305	HOSTILE GIRLIE who had not started for 5 months dropped out early in the race and finished several lengths last.
Race 2	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY - C2/3 - 520	PALSY O'CEIRIN was handy to the first corner but was checked and went back to last and lost all chance of a placing.
Race 3	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 305	TAHUNA TEAZER and SWAPSY were checked back to the rear on the first corner and they stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 4	TOTAL SPAN WANGANUI - C5 - 305	MISSY LEE was scratched due to kennel cough. VITA LASS was very slow away and lost the chance of a placing as a result. MISSY LEE B.Cole Rule 64 Recovering from kennel cough and presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 22.03.06.
Race 5	THE RADIO WORKS - C0 - 520	This event was delayed 2 minutes at the request of race day control. DEADLY PRINCE and PACEY MACEY were slow to begin and settled three lengths behind the field. THRILLING SHADOW was checked back to last when entering the back straight and never recovered.
Race 6	WANGANUI VET SERVICES - C0 - 305	ICY BIGGLES was slow to begin, tailed the field throughout and finished last. ICY DIGIT jumped out at the start and checked CALM ILLUSION. JO BLOGGS, SPICE AGE and STRATIFY jostled together for a few strides when starting on the bend with SPICE AGE and STRATIFY losing a little ground.
Race 7	VITA POWER-EXCEED - C1 - 520	COMANCHE BRAVE was scratched ex Manawatu on 15.03.06. The race was all clear. COMANCHE BRAVE Ex Manawatu on 15.03.06.
Race 8	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C2 - 305	MAXIMUM ran very wide throughout the race and covered considerable extra ground. MICHELAC moved across to the rail on the first corner and checked WILD GUNNADOO, FLIPPITY JIBBIT and STYLISH SUSIE who lost ground. WILD GUNNADOO and FLIPPITY JIBBIT collided again on the bend and finished at the rear.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE - C4/5 - 520	THRILLING BLONDE was scratched due to injury. RUSHED AFFAIR ran in sharply from the start and checked KIWI ASSASSIN and BIGTIME JENNY who settled at the rear and stayed there throughout. THRILLING BLONDE A.Udy Rule 64 Sore shoulder and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 21.03.06.
Race 10	DIMOCKS FURNITURE COURT - C3/4 - 305	THRILLING FLYNN was scratched due to injury. The race was all clear. THRILLING FLYNN Garrett and Parata Rule 64 Suffering from a haematoma on the shoulder, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 20.03.06.
