Judicial report: Weather: Showers Owner/trainer C Mitchell was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 64.1 in relation to the late scratching of ZIGGY WAR CRY.
Owner/trainer BA Johnston was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 in respect of Whata Assassin weighing in 1.2kgs under his last race start weight.

Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C0 - 295	The short priced favourite MY BEEDLEBOMB was very slow to jump from the inside box settling a clear last. When improving along the rail into the bend he tightened LADY RUSH and WHATA ASSASSIN who fell with HOLLABACK GURL sustaining a severe check. All three regained their feet and finished the event. They were subject to post race veterinary checks which revealed no injury. HOMEBUSH VEEJAY was also subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a torn left hind toenail with a 14 day stand down recommended. BLING BLING KING (J&D Fahey) mild right hind toe sprain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 11 March 2006. WILXIA (M&J Jopson) was a late scratching at kennelling when found in season. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.25. 28 days up to and including 30 March 2006. BAGTOWN BOY (VE Kingston) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 2 March 2006. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 6 March 2006. HOMEBUSH VEEJAY (IS Kaye) torn left hind toenail. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 16 March 2006.
Race 2	ALPHA PROCESSING SPRINT - C1 - 295	TRINITY SAINT, GILL LOOPY and AWESOME BROWNIE came together after jumping settling at the rear and never improving. ZIGGY WAR CRY (C Mitchell) was a late scratching after having been stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 2 March 2006. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 8 March 2006.
Race 3	BILLS BAR & BISTRO - C4 - 295	HOMEBUSH SAM and GO PEARL GO were checked as a result of general tightening into the bend losing all chance, filling the last two placings.
Race 4	SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE STAKES - C1/2 - 520	The second favourite FORCEFUL HABIT who was handy early ran wide into the back straight drifting out to finish at the rear. A post race veterinary check revealed a sprained right fore toe with a 21 day stand down recommended. THRILLING SCRUFF (P&B Conner) injury to right fore lateral toe. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 9 March 2006. FORCEFUL HABIT (MM Grant) sprained right fore toe. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 23 March 2006.
Race 5	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C1 - 295	The favourite WHATA DARLING and MISTRESS BELLA were slow to jump. When improving along the rail into the bend they were tightened as was DYNA TOOPI, all three losing ground. Soon after TWO TIME ROUND and SOMERSET BLUE came together both losing ground. Both finished well back with the other three. WHATA DARLING was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 6	CRUSADERS DASH - C2 - 295	The favourite CECILIA HENRY and AWESOME KEV were slow to jump. Into the bend AWESOME KEV, TYRONES AWESOME and EXPANDED tangled losing all chance. They finished at the rear. CECILIA HENRY ran on for fourth.
Race 7	NUTRI-ZING SPRINT - C5 - 295	WHATA TOWN came up with the lids losing all chance. He ran on late for fifth. Into the bend KING LOUIS checked out off WHATA BUY running wide and taking SPARKLING LIGHTS and MRS DOO with him. They filled the last three placings.
Race 8	CHALLENGE OPAWA HEAT - C3q - 520 Heat 1	All clear.
Race 9	EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB DASH - C3 - 295	CLAN ONYX jumped with the field but drifted on the first bend. He ran on again to finish fourth. ASTRO JIMMY was tightened into the first bend and lost its chance finishing last. ASTON ACE (JT McInerney) withdrawn without penalty as entered into the wrong field by NZGRA/Christchurch GRC when a c4 dog selected into a c3 field.
Race 10	AUCKLAND CUP HEATS TONIGHT STAKES - C4/5 - 520	TIMELY FLIRT and HIGH FLYIN TEDDY were slow to jump. TIMELY FLIRT ran on well for third with HIGH FLYIN TEDDY near the rear. Turning for home STACEY ALLEN moved down to the rail when passing the leader HOMEBUSH MIKEY both coming together. STACEY ALLEN was run down by CLAN EBONY with HOMEBUSH MIKEY drifting out to finish last. A post race veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
Race 11	EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB DASH HEAT 2 - C3 - 295	All clear.
