Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH HEAT 1 - C2 - 295 MISSING FERN tightened RUFF STUFF, CLAN MISTY and EXPANDED into the bend losing ground. MISING FERN ran on for fourth with the other three finishing at the rear. RED PAREORA (MJ Flipp) left hock pain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate provided. Race 2 BARRONS SUPPLIES SPRINT - C0 - 295 FENG SHUI was slow to jump settling last. Into the bend CLAN WAVE and HOMEBUSH SCOOBY were tightened both losing ground. They finished at the rear with FENG SHUI. WERES WOODSEY (M&J Jopson) kennel cough. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 5 March 2006.
Race 3 HAMPDEN TAVERN STAKES - C0 - 520 SUM TOTAL struck the hindquarters of STARDOE into the first bend both losing all chance and filling the last two placings. BAGTOWN BOY was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a grazed left fore carpal pad with a five day stand down recommended. BAGTOWN BOY (VE Kingston) grazed left fore carpal pad. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 6 March 2006.
Race 4 C.T.V. SPRINT - C1 - 295 AWESOME BROWNIE was slow to jump settling last. Into the bend TWO TIME ROUND ran outwards checking IDOLISE ME and AWESOME BROWNIE. They lost all chance filling the last three placings.
Race 5 KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C1 - 520 All clear. HOLA CHICA (M&J Jopson) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with kennel cough. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 5 days up to and including 6 March 2006.
Race 6 EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB SPRINT - C0 - 295 ROCHDALE LAD was slow to jump. Into the bend BLUEY HAVOC struck LADY MAUREEN'S hindquarters who ran wide as a result. They finished at the rear.
Race 7 APACHE LODGE STAKE - C0 - 520 DWACK and CLAN BAILEY came together into the first bend. Into the back straight SOUND A TUNE and THRILLING CHAD came together losing ground. LATE COMER drove to the lead at the end of the back straight before pulling up checking DWACK and CLAN BAILEY. This allowed BLUE CURRENT to drive clear and win easily from CLAN BAILEY with LATE COMER third. LATE COMER was ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial prior to racing under Rule 81.1 . READY FOR TEDDY (WJ Cairns) laceration to right fore. Veterinary certificate provided. Rule 64.12. 10 days as from and including 10 March 2006. LATE COMER (GA Cleeve) to undertake a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.
Race 8 FLAIR SPRINT - C1 - 295 Into the bend WHATA OUTLOOK and AFTERNOON DELITE were checked as a result of general tightening. They finished at the rear.
Race 9 KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES HEAT 2 - C1 - 520 Around the first bend BLACK SAUCE clipped JAZZ MAN'S hindquarters, and he drifted out quickly to tail the field home. JAZZ MAN was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed right hock pain with a 14 day stand down recommended. In the back straight BLACK SAUCE tightened CLAN STAR and THRILLING LAURA. BLACK SAUCE ran on for third with the other two midfield. JAZZ MAN (GA Cleeve) right hock pain. Rule 82.1 14 days up to and including 15 March 2006.
Race 10 GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND SPRINT - C1 - 295 DYNA TOOPI and BELLE OF PAREORA were slow settling at the rear. Into the bend the favourite ZIGGY WAR CRY and CLAN IVORY came together. CLAN IVORY finished fourth with ZIGGY WAR CRY drifting out to finish at the rear with DYNA TOOPI and BELLE OF PAREORA. ZIGGY WAR CRY was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a left hind groin strain with a 7 day stand down recommended. BRUCE AT XTRA (M&J Jopson) kennel cough. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 8 March 2006. ZIGGY WAR CRY (C Mitchell) left hind groin strain. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 8 March 2006.
Race 11 SUPERPETS STAKES - C2 - 520 Soon after the jump HOMEBUSH FALCON, the favourite CHAMPAGNE JEWEL and HOMEBUSH THORN lost all chance when checked as a result of tighening by dogs on their outer. They filled the last three placings.
Race 12 GARDEN CITY CHEM DRY SPRINT - C1 - 295 The favourite was very slow to jump from the inside box and when endeavouring to improve into the bend checked WHATA DARLING both losing ground to finish well back.
Race 13 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH HEAT 2 - C2 - 295 JEMALONG EASTERN drifted to last after the jump finishing at the rear with HOMEBUSH SONYA, JUST AWESOME and HOMEBUSH SALLY who tangled into the first bend. JIMMY ALLEN (AC Roberts) deceased. SUPREME DENIM (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate provided. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 6 March 2006.
Race 14 SISTER CITY ADELAIDE HEATS TONIGHT STAKES - C4/5 - 520 PEGLANA EBONY ran wide around the first bend settling last before drifted out over the concluding stages to finish some distance from the field. A post race veterinary check revealed
Race 15 BACK HERE TOMORROW DASH - C3/4 - 295 Into the first bend HOMEBUSH SAM was tightened falling as a result. He regained his feet and finished the event. A post race veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. Soon after OHOKA FLIRT clipped the heels of WEE SWEETIE before checking outwards and hitting CLASSIC BOOM which waschecked sharply coming back on HOMEBUSH MIKEY. These dogs lost all chance finishing at the rear.
