Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer D.Little was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting JEFFIES FELLA 1.3 kilograms overweight.
BEST TELL PIE. A late scratching under Rule 68.29 and a Vets clearance is required before the dogs next start.
The Trainers M & A Sutton fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 88.1. o for presenting a Greyhound with fleas.

Race 2	GOMMANS CONCRETE STAKES - C2/3 - 505	BANJO COUNTRY was checked on the first corner and dropped back onto RALPH and they both lost ground. RALPH raced onto the heels of BANJO COUNTRY starting on the final band and dropped back onto HOMEBUSH LISA and they finished in the last three places.
Race 3	NZ RACING SERIES RESD 715M - RESdf - 715	BLUE FERN was scratched due to injury. ARANUI GOLD and ASTRAKHAN were badly checked on the first corner and lost several lengths. BLUE FERN G.Cleeve Rule 64 Has a hock injury and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 21.02.06.
Race 4	NORTH ISLAND CHAMPS HEAT 1 - C5q - 505 Heat 1	BEST TELL PIE was a late scratching when found to have an infestation of fleas. The Trainers M & A Sutton were fined $ 50-00. TIME SOLVES was slow away and then ran very wide on the first bend losing several lengths and he tailed the field throughout and finished last. ACCORD also ran wide on the first bend, covered extra ground and finished in 2nd last place. BEST TELL PIE M & A Sutton Rule 68.29 b Suffering from an infestation of fleas and late scratched and a Veterinary clearance is required before BEST TELL PIE'S next start.
Race 5	WEEKEND CRAFTS - C2/3 - 297	The race was all clear.
Race 6	NORTH ISLAND CHAMPS HEAT 2 - C5q - 505 Heat 1	One of the favourites EXCEPTIONAL KOLA was tightened between runners early in the race and then ran very wide around the first bend and lost all chance of a placing MANAWA NUI moved out entering the back straight and checked HOMEBUSH GORDON who lost some ground..
Race 7	CLOVERLEA TAVERN - C4/5 - 297	TIMTAGEL STAR was scratched due to injury. YALLAH ROSE began very awkwardly and almost fell and lost all chance. CALL ME CUTE, THRILLING MARK and CRUZMORE were all checked at various stages in the race to the first corner and all lost ground. TIMTAGEL STAR S.Drysdale Rule 64 Suffering from lameness and stood down for 14 days to and including 28.02.06.
Race 8	PRINCE ZIDANE STAKES - C1 - 505	D.Little the Trainer of JEFFIES FELLA was fined $ 50-00 after presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms overweight. The favourite RAVEN LOU went up with the lids and lost ground. She then collided with BUFFALO SOLDIER on the first corner and fell, suffered from some bruising and was stood down for 7 days. BUFFALO SOLDIER also lost ground in the incident and tailed the remainder of the field home. STARLIGHT WOODS moved out entering the back straight and checked BANKSIDE GO GO who lost 4 lengths and then ran wide on the final bend, lost further ground and finished well back. RAVEN LOU I.Moore Rule 82 Fell and suffered from bruising and stood down for 7 days to and including 22.02.06.
Race 9	KEEGAN CONTRACTORS - C2 - 505	GAZZA'S JEWEL was scratched due to injury. COCKNEY ASSASSIN and AMUSEMENT collided on the first corner, lost several lengths and tailed the field to the finish. GAZZA'S JEWEL P.Freeman Rule 64 Suffering from leg muscle soreness and stood down for 14 days to and including 29.02.06.
Race 10	TIME FOR A TUI - C2 - 297	EXODUS was handy into the first corner but then covered extra ground when racing very wide on the bend and eventually finished in 4th place.
