| Race 1 | WELCOME TO DUNEDIN SPRINT - C4 - 310 | ASTON ACE drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the bend BLICKLING HALL was tightened by HOMEBUSH SAM, both losing ground and forcing SING VERA LYNN and HOMEBUSH BELLA wide. These dogs filled the last five placings. |
| Race 2 | MASTERS GAMES SPRINT - C0 - 310 | TRACTOR JACK weighed in 1.6kgs over his last race weight. TRACTOR JACK ran out after the jump checking HOMEBUSH WESTIE both losing momentum. HOMEBUSH WESTIE ran on late for second with TRACTOR JACK fifth. Into the bend CLAN MARY LOU clipped HOMEBUSH JOCK'S heels, falling as a result. She regained her feet and finished the event. CLAN WAVE drifted after the jump and had to evade the fallen dog. She finished well back. Both were subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed no injury to either dog. | Race 3 | PETER SNELL SPRINT - C1 - 310 | Into the bend the favourite LITTLE BOY BLUE clipped the heels of GILL LOOPY coming back on HOMEBUSH BITE, both losing ground with CLAN MISTY and BLACK OVERTURE also checked. These dogs filled the last four places. |
| Race 4 | GOLD MEDAL SPRINT - C1 - 310 | LIGHT FROST was checked when vying for the lead with HEART OF PROMISE into the bend coming back and badly checking CLAN IVORY. Both finished well back. HOMEBUSH LEE (JT McInerney) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certtificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 14 February 2006. |
| Race 5 | 'SPOTTED HAND AT STUD' SPRINT - C3 - 310 | ROOK THE RAVEN ran out after the jump checking the favourite FOUR WAY DOLL who drifted to last. Into the bend CLAN ONYX and FOUR WAY DOLL came together losing momentum. They filled the last two places. |
| Race 6 | DUNEDIN FESTIVAL SPRINT - C5 - 310 | The favourite AWESOME ASTON ran after the jumping tightening RUDI JEWEL who settled at the rear. Into the bend GLITZY OPAL and PAPPILONG tangled losing ground. Soon after AWESOME ASTON tightened HOMEBUSH JESSIE who lost her feet and fell. She regained her feet and finished the event. HOMEBUSH JESSIE and JARED BRANDON were subject to post race veterinary checks with no injury detected to either dog. |
| Race 7 | SILVER MEDAL STAKES - C0 - 545 | Into the first bend HOMEBUSH FIRE was squeezed by WAIREKA and CLAN BLUE as they moved down towards the rail, resulting in HOMEBUSH FIRE'S outward movement into the path of HOMEBUSH EAGLE who struck her heavily. Both dogs sustained bad checks, with HOMEBUSH FIRE drifting out to finish a distant last. HOMEBUSH EAGLE ran on late for fifth. HOMEBUSH FIRE was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed lameness in the right shoulder with a ten day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH FIRE (JT McInerney) right shoulder lameness. | Race 8 | GO HIGHLANDERS STAKES - C1 - 545 | HOMEBUSH TRENDY and LOCHINVAR ROCKET were tardy jumping settling well back. LOCHINVAR ROCKET improved wide to take the lead down the back straight to win well. The favourite ANGEL OF HARLEM was well back finishing strongly in the straight for third. MYSTERY MADAM (M&J Jopson) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 7 February 2006. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 20 February 2006. |
| Race 9 | BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING STAKES - C1 - 545 | OZARK'S ANGEL trapped quickly but was squeezed up on the first bend and pushed to the rear to finish at the back of the field. JUST AS SHIFTY led from the jump into the final straight and faded to finish fourth whilst the favourite LADYLIKE TOKEN was second last early, made ground steadily during the race and finished on for third. OZARK'S ANGEL was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. HOMEBUSH LAKSMI (JT McInerney) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 8 March 2006. |
| Race 10 | BRONZE MEDAL STAKES - C3 - 545 | HARRY BLOG went down on his nose when tightened soon after the jump. He settled last never improving during the running. FORCEFUL HABIT (MM Grant) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 7 February 2006. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 16 February 2006. |
| Race 11 | WANGANUI NEXT YEAR STAKES - C4/5 - 545 | BRILLIANT HAND was slow to jump settling at the rear before finishing strongly for second. Into the first bend SHIRAZ ROYALE was squeezed between dogs drifting out to last. He finished strongly in the straight for a close up fourth. SIESMIC led early before being passed at the end of the back straight drifting out to finish second to last. |
| Race 12 | PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL SPRINT - C2 - 310 | DISCO FEVER and AWESOME KEV were slow to jump settling at the rear. Into the bend ICONIC LADY was tightened drifting back towards the rear. All three finished at the rear. RED PAREORA who was well back early finished strongly for third. |
