| Race 2 | ROBBIES BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C0 - 295 | Favourite CLAN MARY LOU checked off BRIGHT GEORGE on the home turn before running on well for third. RICHTER and HOMEBUSH VEEJAY tangled into the first corner. RICHTER recovered to finish fourth while HOMEBUSH VEEJAY finished midfield FENG SHUI missed the jump by 20 lengths and tailed the field. This dog was ordered to undertake a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1. MY BEEDLEBOMB (DJ Wallis) stood down at Christchurch GRC on 5th February 2006. | Race 3 | C.T.V SPRINT - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH LEE was slow to jump but ran on fairly to finish fifth. DENZIL DANCER ran about on the bends finishing in seventh placing. CHEWCHEW FUDDLE faltered on the first bend and tailed the field. A veterinary check revealed a right hock strain with a 14 day stand down recommended. CYBIL DEFENCE (AH Lee) diarrhoea. The warm favourite ZIGGY WAR CRY was clear until the home turn until being run down by the eventual winner PROSPERO. MYSTERY MADAM was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a left hind nail was lost during the running. A 14 day stand down was recommended. | Race 6 | WILSONS SPORTS BAR & TAB SPRINT - C2 - 295 | Into the first bend HOMEBUSH WAVE, HOMEBUSH RYAN and ICONIC LADY were tightened and lost their chances. HOMEBUSH WAVE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a left hock medial ligament sprain. A 14 day stand down was recommended. HOMEBUSH WAVE (JT McInerney) left hock medial ligament sprain. | Race 7 | GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND SPRINT - C1 - 295 | ROCHDALE BLUE and PUSH PLAY were slow to jump. ROCHDALE BLUE stayed at the rear with PUSH PLAY running on nicely wide on the track for fourth. TEDDY JUNCTION ran wide around the home turn losing its chance. |

| Race 9 | INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD SPRINT - C0 - 295 | OPTIMUM CURRENT ran out checking the favourite THRILLING JANE and YORKTOWN on the first bend. THRILLING JANE made up ground to finish fourth while OPTIMUM CURRENT and YORKTOWN finished at the rear Prior to the home straight LIL LEGEND struck ZAZZA BELLE with both dogs being checked and finishing midfield. |
| Race 10 | CONTAINERMAN SPRINT - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH JESS and AWESOME BROWNIE were tightened soon after the jump. AWESOME BROWNIE ran for fourth with HOMEBUSH JESS finishing last. TRENDY JILL and BRUCE AT XTRA ran wide around the bend losing ground to finish near the rear. |
| Race 11 | BILLS BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C2 - 520 | MULBERRY TRUMP ran out into the first bend on to HOMEBUSH FALCON with both dogs losing ground and finishing midfield. PAREORA JACK (MJ Flipp) left shoulder muscle pain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 12 February 2006. |
| Race 12 | APACHE LODGE STAKES - C0 - 520 | STRONG BAD ran out at the first bend onto CLAN SPOOKY, RUN LIKE GEORGE and HOMEBUSH NICKY. These dogs all finished towards the rear. Handler DK Kingston was fined $25.00 under Rule 71.4 for failing to arrange a catcher for BAGTOWN BOY |
| Race 13 | BARRONS SUPPLIES SPRINT - C4 - 295 | OHOKA FLIRT jumped well but ran out onto ASTON ACE and in turn collided with OCTOBER PLACARD on the home turn. These dogs lost their chances in this incident. |
| Race 14 | SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE STAKES - C1 - 520 | HOMEBUSH TRENDY was squeezed up in between JUST A DRIP and INCOGNITO and settled last. This dog remained at the rear. SLAVE DRIVER (GA Cleeve) stood down at Christchurch GRC on 5 February 2006. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 13 February 2006. |
| Race 15 | FLAIR SPRINT - C0 - 295 | The winner HOMEBUSH WESTIE ducked straight to the rail on jumping severely checking ROCHDALE LAD, GILL LOOPY and LADY RUSH. Of these affected dogs only GILL LOOPY was able to recover making ground late for fourth. The favourite ROCKGAS OPAWA jumped fairly and made ground well to finish second. This dog was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed shoulder muscle pain. A seven day stand down was recommended. TULONGA LOAFER was first to jump but was taken wide around the first bend by HAUNTED HALL. TULONGA LOAFER weakened out after this to finish in last placing. ANGRY'S WISH (BC Dann) right hock strain. | Race 18 | NUTRI-ZING STAKES - C1 - 520 | CLAN ROCKAFELLA stood on the hindquarters of BELLE OF PAREORA racing into the first bend with both dogs coming back and checking HOLA CHICA and the favourite LOCHINVAR ROCKET. | Race 19 | KOLORFUL KANVAS SPRINT - C3 - 295 | WILD BILL ran out on the first bend checking ROOK THE RAVEN, HARRY BLOG and HOMEBUSH LISA. These affected dogs all finished well back. MR CARD (BC Dann) was a late scratching at kennelling when found to have a temperature. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 5 days up to and including 11 February 2006. |
| Race 20 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C3 - 520 | The short priced favourite PATTYS ANSWER came up with the lids losing five lengths. He recovered quickly circling the field to finish on for a close up third. FORCEFUL HABIT who finished fourth was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed a mild sprain of the second right fore toe with a stand down of 10 days recommended.
