FOUR MEMORIES was very slow to begin and then ran wide on the first bend over extra ground and finished several lengths last. FOUR MEMORIES was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. THRILLING FLOJO checked off the heels of PURELY AWESOME on the first corner, moved out and collided with FLOSSY BOOTS who along with TEENY WEENY was checked and pushed wide and they lost all chance. | Race 5 | RUSH HIRE - C1 - 520 | FINN O'RILEY and WINCHESTER MISS collided at the back of the field on the first bend, lost ground anf finshed well back. Following this event, the Steward in charge requested that the track be harrowed but this proved unsuccessful due to the wet conditions. The track was again inspected and was considered safe for racing and the remainder of the programme was put back one race due to the time taken to harrow and inspect the track. The remaining races continued with no problems. |
