MONTY ZUMA and FORTIFIED HOPE collided on the first bend and lost ground. MARIOS MATE was handy into the back straight but was severely checked, went back to last and never recovered. |

| Race 8 | UPPER VALLEY PANEL - C1 - 295 | T.Denbee the Trainer of SWAPSY was fined $ 50-00 when presenting the dog 1.7 kilograms overweight. RAINING MEN jumped in from the start and checked SWAPSY and CLASSY BREEZE who dropped out to the rear and stayed well back throughout the race. |

A vets inspection was ordered and found a slight toe injury but no stand down was imposed. SHEEZA CORKA ran out in the race to the first corner and pushed SAILAH JAYNE and IMA FREEMAN wide on the track. SAILAH JAYNE was eventually checked in the incident and dropped back to last but recovered to finish 5th. |

REBEL ALLIANCE was checked after the finish line and was also examined and stood down for 3 days with shoulder and neck soreness. REBEL ALLIANCE T.Pilcher Rule 82 Fell and suffered soreness to a shoulder and to the neck and stood down for 3 days to and including 04.02.06. |
| Race 11 | EXCHANGE HOTEL - C1 - 525 | One of the favourites OUR JIGSAW was very slow to begin and was last into the first corner. OUR JIGSAW was then checked entering the back straight and finished the race near the rear. |
| Race 12 | BACK @ HUTT PARK THURS 9TH FEB - C4/5 - 295 | MISTER JAYBEE went up with the box lids and missed the start by several lengths. He then made ground well to finish in 4th place. |
