Race 1	TRAINERS MAIDEN CUP FINAL - C0f - 525	E.Norris the Trainer of JUSTA BREEZE was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms underweight. IM CUTE TOO ran very wide on the first bend, covered extra ground and tailed the field to the finish.
Race 2	CUSTOMS AGENTS - WGTN - C4/5 - 525	MANAWA NUI was scratched due to suffering from diarrhoea. KIWI ASSASSIN was scratched due to injury. ANTONI BEE was scratched due to injury. The well supported BUCKS REWARD was slow to begin and was then pushed into the rail on the first corner, dropped back to last and could not make up the lost ground. MANAWA NUI S.Maher Rule 64 Suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 10 days to and including 02.02.06. KIWI ASSASSIN F.Kite Rule 64 Suffering from muscle soreness and stood down for 10 days to and including 03.02.06 ANTONI BEE B & E Gough Rule 64 Suffering from soreness and stood down for 28 days to and including 21.02.06.
Race 3	'TOTAL BODY SHOP' STAKES - C2/3 - 525	SHELLSAL was slow to begin losing several lengths. She then made ground well to finish in 4th place. AMANDA CHOICE and ASTRO NERONE collided on the first bend and AMANDA CHOICE went back to last and stayed in that position to the finish.
Race 4	RESTRICTED AGE FINAL - R/Af - 525	One of the favourites CANONGATE was awkwardly placed between runners on the first corner and lost some momentum. He was then checked starting the last bend, went back to last and never recovered.
Race 5	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 525	LAUREN AUDER moved in on the home turn and bumped BONIFIED who lost some momentum and this may have affected its chance of a closer placing than 3rd.
Race 6	HARDINGS HANDCRAFTED FURNITURE - C1 - 295	ROB ROY was checked and fell on the first corner and SWAPSY, HOMEBUSH CHRIS and PEACH LOVER were badly checked in the incident, lost all chance and filled the last three places. ROB ROY was checked by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with muscle soreness in both hind legs. ROB ROY W.T.Hodgson Rule 82 Fell and suffered muscle soreness in both hind legs and stood down for 5 days to and including 30.01.06.
Race 7	PREMIER SPRINT - C5 - 295	SUNSET DOLL led on the first corner but moved in and was galloped on by WORLD BANK who was checked, moved out and forced SLICE OF MOON wide on the bend. SLICE OF MOON recovered to go on and win the race. WHATA TOWN galloped on the back of SUNSET DOLL on the bend with both losing ground and PHAEDRA collided with the back of WHATA TOWN causing a check to that runner and PHAEDRA fell. WHATA TOWN was in 2nd place in the home straight but was checked when SUNSET DOLL moved out slightly and finished well back. WHATA TOWN and PHAEDRA were both examined by the Vet and PHAEDRA was stood down for 5 days with some hip pain while WHATA TOWN was cleared of injury at that time. PHAEDRA B & E Gough Rule 82 Fell and suffered bruising to both hips and stood down for 5 days to and including 30.01.06
Race 8	'EL CHEAPO CARS' WELLINGTON CUP - C5f - 525	The favourite FREDDY MAGIC was forced to race wide from box 8 and finished well back. The dog was examined by the Vet and cleared of any injury.
Race 9	EXCHANGE HOTEL DASH - C2 - 295	BOSSY ACE was scratched due to suffering from diarrhoea. All clear. BOSSY ACE S.Maher Rule 64 Suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 10 days to and including 02.02.06.
Race 10	BACK @ HUTT PARK 2ND FEB - C2/3 - 295	HURRICANE FOG was a late scratching when found to have a nasal bleed. MR CARD jumped out from the start bumped RALPH and they settled at the rear and stayed there to the finish. HURRICANE FOG K.Jackson Rule 64 A late scratching due to a nasal bleed and stood down for 5 days to and including 30.01.06.
