Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C3 - 295	The winner HOMEBUSH BUZZ ran inwards after jumping from the outside box tightening HOMEBUSH KIM, HOMEBUSH GEORGE, and AQUA TANK. They settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH GEORGE improved along the rail around the bend to finish well for third. The other two finished at the rear.
Race 2	CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C3/4 - 520	WHATA DUDE was slow away but improved wide to finish a good third. DALLAS MAJOR dropped away over the concluding stages to finish a distant last. A post-race veterinary check revealed a left groin pain with a 14 day stand down recommended. BURN THE PEG (GA Cleeve) right muscle soreness. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 25 Janaury 2006. ICE LAW (JT McInerney) starter in Race 6. DALLAS MAJOR (JT McInerney) left groin pain. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 2 February 2006.
Race 3	HAPPY 87TH BIRTHDAY PAT CAGNEY SPRINT - C2 - 295	ASTRO JIMMY was a shade slow but ran on well to finish fourth. Into the bend ROOK THE RAVEN and MRS PEEL lost all chance when tightened. They filled the last two places.
Race 4	HAMPDEN TAVERN STAKES - C1 - 520	MYSTERY MADAM came up with the lids losing ground, settling last. She finished sixth. Into the back straight MULBERRY TRICK and the favourite TRINITY ROCKET tangled for a number of strides losing ground. Both dogs finished well back.
Race 5	BILLS BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C2 - 520	MASSACHUSETTS was checked into the first bend. Into the back straight HOMEBUSH FALCON, MASSACHUSETTS, KRACKER and LOUIE MCDODD all tangled. HOMEBUSH FALCON and LOUIE MCDODD ran on to finish behind the placegetters while MASSACHUSETTS and KRACKER finished midfield.
Race 6	DENOVAN MEMORIAL CUP - C3 - 520	HOMEBUSH DAN was slow to jump finishing sixth. Into the first bend RAILROAD WARRIOR and the favourite SONNY BILL ALLEN tangled coming back on CLAN EBONY, FORCEFUL HABIT and ICE LAW. SONNY BILL ALLEN ran on late for third with the others finishing midfield. CLAN ORA (HG Cairns) starter in Race 8.
Race 7	ADELAIDE-SISTER CITY CUP HEAT 1 - SPECq - 520 Heat 1	WHATA PLAN was slow to jump finishing on late for fifth. Into the first bend LOMU FLEX, TOKEN EGO and STACEY ALLEN were tightened settling back. TOKEN EGO and STACEY ALLEN ran on for third and fourth with LOMU FLEX finishing last. At the lure WHATA PLAN leapt over a number of dogs and crashed to the ground. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 8	ADELAIDE-SISTER CITY CUP HEAT 2 - SPECq - 520 Heat 1	All clear. HOMEBUSH MIKEY (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling with swelling over the left knee. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 26 January 2006. HOMEBUSH COYOTE (JT McInerney) ineligible to compete as under standdown under Rule 64.12 from Wellington GRC meeting on 12 January 2006 for 14 days up to and including 23 January 2006. Trainer JT McInerney was charged with a breach of Rule 43.7.
Race 9	SHIRLEY T.A.B SPRINT - C5 - 295	CLASSIC BOOM was slow to leave the traps finishing on well for fourth. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH BELLA, KING LOUIS, PAPPILONG and ELLA LEE tangled losing ground. Turning for home HOMEBUSH BELLA ran outwards colliding with PAPPILONG finishing well back.
Race 10	NZ OAKS HEATS NEXT FRIDAY DASH - C4 - 295	HARRY BLOG was slow from the inside box before running out into the bend checking OHOKA FLIRT and the favourite FARMOR BLISS. Soon after OHOKA FLIRT struck YENDY'E TITLE, checking out and forcing MRS DOO wide. Turning for home HARRY BLOG and YENDY'S TITLE collided . These dogs finished well back with MRS DOO running on late for third. YENDY'S TITLE was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed no injury.
