Judicial report: Weather: Fine / warm Stewards conducted a number of NZGRA Licence checks throughout the meeting.

Race 4. Trainer N.P.Green (Turbulence) was questioned by Stewards about the race performance (lack of due commitment) of this greyhound and was advised that immediate performances will be monitored closely. Mr Green advised that the greyhound had been trialling to his satisfaction.

Race 5. Trainer R.J.M.Smith (El Token) was questioned again about the race performance (lack of due commitment) of this greyhound. Stewards were of the opinion that there had been a slightly improved performance at tonight's meeting compared to that at AGRC on 11.01.06 however further improvement was required. Mr Smith advised that he intended to arrange a further thorough Veterinary Examination of the greyhound including xrays.

Race 1 WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE DASH - C3/4 - 375 There was a 3 minute delay to the start of this race at the request of TAB Trackside. Charlston Kid (fav and winner), Velvot Revolver and Ballibeast were the slowest to begin. Winsome Guy and Ballibeast came together several times prior to and entering the first turn with both being checked. Tee Ar Tee (S.P.Clark). Tail injury. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.14. 28 days to and including 08.02.06. (possible review).
Race 2 SUMMERTIME MAIDEN - C0 - 457 There was a 1 minute delay to the start of this race at the request of TAB Trackside. Gatlin Getto, Ultra Sting, Blade Slayer, Go Mad Corky and Hot Dickadee were the slowest to begin. Gatlin Getto and Ultra Sting came together after the start with both being checked and again 15 mtrs later. Entering the first turn Hey Zeus moved inwards and collided with Hot Dickadee resulting in both runners being severely checked. Hey Zeus moved outwards on the bend and forced Go Mad Corky over extra ground. Augusta Allen (G.N.Pomeroy) Abrasions to webbing of right fore and hind feet. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 7 days to and including 18.01.06.
Race 3 JANUARY SPRINT - C0 - 375 There was a 1 minute delay to the start of this race at the request of TAB Trackside. Queen Toka and Bright Token were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn all runners with the exception of Jacki Flex and Dreamaqueen (fav and 2nd) were involved in general tightening and resulting severe checks. On the bend Gray Way moved outwards across the heels of Giggilo Gee Jay.
Race 4 RACEWAY STAKES - C2 - 457 Entering the first turn Sea Drifter (2nd) and Four Square came together with both being severely checked. Candy Coated (B & L Craik) . Webbing injury. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.14. 28 days to and including 08.02.06.
Race 5 IMPROVERS SPRINT - C1 - 375 Entering the first turn El Token was cut off and checked slightly then showed little improvement thereafter finishing last. (refer Judicial) Roulette Reason and Awesome Ronnie were tightened and checked on the first turn. Charlston Deal and Hypo Carter (fav and winner) came together when straightening for the run home with both being checked slightly.
Race 6 RAGLAN DASH - C1 - 375 Montecito (fav and 5th) was slow to begin. Gunna Flex ran inwards at the start and severely checked itself, Big Archie, Rebecca's Pal, Bus Painter and Boot's Last. Entering the first turn Big Archie moved inwards towards the rail and severely checked Boot's Last and Rebecca's Pal which as a result of this interference moved outwards and severely checked Montecito. Shortly after Montecito clipped the heels of Boot's Last and lost it's balance. Waitaha Rua (D.W.Mathews). Rule 82.1. Ex AGRC held on 11.01.06.
Race 7 THOMAS WOOD PHOTOGRAPHY STAKES - C4/5 - 457 Rogan Reason was the slowest to begin. He's Off ran inwards at the start and checked Prince Toshack, Raheny Reason and Kola's Glory then jostled with Bevron Road for several strides after 40 mtrs. Thrilling Hubba (fav and winner) drifted outwards under pressure in the home straight. Whata Plan (B.C.Dann) Rule 63.10. Reserve-100kms.
Race 8 DINSDALE TAVERN DASH - C5 - 375 Hypoumunga, Sue Van Gill and Bigbad Edna were the slowest to begin. Keenjackaroo was tightened then drifted on the first turn and showed little improvement to finish last. Bigbad Edna was hampered slightly by Dyna Ropati after straightening for the run home. Whata Town (B.C.Dann). Right shoulder soreness. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days to and including 20.01.06.
Race 9 TAB PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C1 - 457 Mr Miargi was slow to begin. Criteria ran inwards at the start and severely checked itself and Auditor's Folly. Destiny's Run ran outwards at the start and checked Andwyn. Andwyn was hampered for two strides on the first turn. Auditor's Folly and Mr Miargi came together entering the first turn with both being checked. Mr Miargi then ran very wide on the bend and covered a lot of extra ground. Gentle Lee (winner) raced very wide in both straights. Auditor's Folly moved outwards turning for home and severely checked Andwyn. Bonified (fav and 3rd) ran home wide in the straight. Lord Maximus (F.D.Farmer). Strain to muscle sheath on left thigh. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 64.13. 14 days to and including 25.01.06.
Race 10 GET OUT STAKES - C3 - 457 Big Teddy Boy moved outwards after the start and checked Rivette Reason and Thrilling Tiger. Rialto Reason and Thrilling Tiger came together entering the first turn with both being checked slightly. Rivette Reason and Rialto Reason ran very wide and covered extra ground on the bend. Kalkaringi (3rd) and Ash's Assassin (2nd) came together for a stride on the home turn with both being checked slightly.
