She tailed the field throughout and finished in last place. Race 2 TIMES-AGE DASH - C1 - 290 LEGAL EDITION began awkwardly, settled last and stayed there throughout.
Race 3 COMMITTEE STAKES - C0 - 290 AINT EASY was slow to begin and tailed the field throughout. LIKENALE was tightened between KAITOKE POWER and ARANUI JOKER on the bend, went back and out forcing BINTANG BERT over extra ground and they lost several lengths and finished well back.
Race 4 GAS EKETAHUNA - C1/2 - 545 All clear.
Race 5 NZGRA - THE DOGS FINAL - C0f - 545 The favourite NOSE THE TUNE was slow to begin, was last into the first corner and could not make up the lost ground and finished in last place.
Race 6 THANKS JOHN - C1 - 290 All clear.
Race 7 NZGRA - THE DOGS FINAL - C1f - 545 RAVEN LOU was scratched due to diarrhoea. OUR JIGSAW was scratched due to diarrhoea. The 2nd reserve RICHFIELD REASON was scratched without penalty due to a communication problem between the Trainer and the Club. LITTLE PRESSY and ARANUI FLASH were observed to be making up ground well from the back when they collided on the final bend, lost several lengths and filled the last two places at the finish. . Race 8 TIMES-AGE DASH - C1 - 290 ARANUI TUI was scratched Ex Wairarapa on 04.01.06 MISS LUCK was slow to begin and settled in last place. She was then checked on the first corner, was forced to race wide on the bend and finished in last place. ARANUI TUI Ex Wairarapa on 04.01.06.
Race 9 THE JACKSON'S FAREWELL - C2 - 290 BANJO COUNTRY began awkwardly, settled at the rear and stayed there throughout. HOMEBUSH SNIPPET moved in on the first corner and jostled BUSTER KEATON and HELLO SAILOR who both lost some ground.
Race 10 JOE MARRON MEMORIAL - C2/3 - 545 SHELLSAL was very slow to begin and was observed to make up ground well until checked on the home turn and fell but was uninjured.
Race 11 THE CARNIVAL IS OVER - C3/4 - 290 SAILAH JAYNE was scratched Ex Wanganui on 06.01.06 The race was all clear. SAILAH JAYNE Ex Wanganui on 06.01.06
