Race 1 | MAIDEN STAKES - C0 - 525 | SWEET SECRET and ROURKES DRIFT were slow to begin and lost four lengths. ROURKES DRIFT recovered to finish a close 2nd. JEFFIES FELLA was checked and fell entering the back straight but was uninjured. MCTAGGART and IM CUTE TOO were checked in the incident and lost all chance of a placing. |
Race 2 | SPICERS PAPER DASH - C1 - 295 | FLIPPITY JIBBIT moved in on the first corner and tightened BOUND FOR CHINA, GUS THE BUILDER, DUSTYS REWARD and WOW BOW who all lost ground. Soon after GUS THE BUILDER and WOW BOW collided and WOW BOW fell but was uninjured. On the home turn GUS THE BUILDER, LISSADELL PRINCE and DUSTYS REWARD bumped together and ran wide into the straight. |
Race 3 | UPPER HUTT COSSIE CLUB - C1 - 295 | SEASPRAY FOLLY was checked on the first turn and went back causing checks to ARANUI TAMY, PEACH LOVER, OLD ELLA and BIGTIME NIPPA and they finished in the last five places. |
Race 4 | BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C3 - 295 | MY LADY PACIFIC was scratched due to a slight toe injury. MONDO CANPIONE was checked on the bend, went back to last and finished in that position. BOSSY ACE and LORD PLACARD bumped together on the home turn and lost some momentum. MY LADY PACIFIC Garrett & Parata Rule 259 Has a slight toe injury and was presented and stood down for 3 days to and including 15.12.05. |

Race 6 | ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C4/5 - 525 | The favourite THRILLING SAM was on the heels of another runner in the back straight, lost momentum for a few strides but then ran on well for a close 4th placing. The well supported BELFAST BLUE led early in the race but then dropped out in the back straight and finished several lengths last. A Vets inspection was ordered and cleared the dog of injury but BELFAST BLUE took some time to recover and could have been affected by the very warm weather. |
Race 7 | EKETAHUNA TAKEAWAYS - C1 - 525 | CHARLIE CASH was checked on the first turn, went back and checked RAVEN LOU and they never recovered, finishing in the last two places. |
Race 8 | EL CHEAPO CARS SPRINT - FINAL - C2f - 295 | QUIVER LIP was tightened between TEE BONE and DES'REE on the first corner and went from a handy position back to last and never recovered, finishing in 2nd last place. WEE AMY LEIGH Huntley & Fraser Rule 258 (3) A late scratching due to a seasonal complaint and stood down for 30 days to and including 13.01.06. |
