CALL ME AWESOME ran out on the first corner and pushed JUSTA BREEZE wide on the bend. CALL ME AWESOME then clipped the heels of JUSTA BREEZE entering the back straight and dropped out to finish several lengths last. CALL ME AWESOME was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. ROURKES DRIFT suffered a puncture wound and was stood down for 7 days. MISS CHIFF then ran out on the corner and caused severe checks to GUS THE BUILDER and PENMANS PAL and they never recovered and filled the last three places. |

LUCABELLA raced well back and finished several lengths last and was observed to be suffering from cramp but recovered quickly. BLUE MOON MAGIC and DUSTY NERO collided on the first corner and ran a little wide. |

JEWEL then checked off the heels of UPAHUT ROSE in the back straight and again on the home turn and this possibly affected its chance of a closer placing. Race 10 | WISHART AGRICULTURAL - C1 - 545 | SUMMERTIME LAD and STAUNCH jostled together for several strides in the early part with SUMMERTIME LAD dropping back to the rear where he stayed and STAUNCH recovering to finish in 2nd place. COOL CUSTOMER was very slow to begin and he raced well back throughout and only beat two others home. |
Race 11 | D.B. BREWERIES - C2 - 545 | TARTAN FLYER slipped when jumping from the boxes and lost several lengths and all chance. RED FOX CREEK ran onto the heels of UPAHUT LOONY starting the last bend, ran out and was galloped on by TOKEN CHARM and suffered a serious leg injury and was euthanased by the Clubs Vet. RED FOX CREEK G & S Hayden-Holmes Rule 329 Suffered a fractured hock and was Euthanased. |
