Race 11.An Inquiry under NZGRA Rule 123.8 was opened and adjourned with the Waikato GRC Judicial Committee ( Mr A. Booth) into the scratching of Hostile Girlie (G.A.Lawrence). Following further evidence received the Charge has now been withdrawn.

Concern was lodged with the Timekeeper and Judicial Committee in relation to reoccurring automatic timing equipment malfunctions at this track.

Race 1 HAMILTON DISTANCE - C1d - 630 Never Home pushed out on the first turn which forced Shooshla and Thrilling Larisa wide. Shooshla raced very wide for much of the race. Kolliwobble (G.A.Lawrence). Advice received from Trainer that this greyhound has been euthanased. (Registration papers to be presented to Stipendiary Steward).
Race 2 RAGLAN DASH - C0 - 375 Raincall and Roys Babe were slow to begin. Morriset ran inwards at the start checking Big Archie which went on to win. Ritzy Reason ran inwards at the start checking itself and Giggilo Gee Jay. Entering the first turn Giggilo Gee Jay was tightened and severely checked. On the home turn Giggilo Gee Jay clipped the heels of All Mine Now which was checked.
Race 3 CAMBRIDGE MAIDEN - HEAT 1 - C0q - 457 Heat 1 Sable Raeder, Bassai Dai and Hola Chica were the slowest to begin. Nearing the first turn Jonsys Roba made contact with the running rail, bounced off and checked itself, lost 2 lengths then recovered well to finish 2nd. A post race veterinary examination of Jonsys Roba detected no injury.
Race 4 MATANGI SPRINT - C0 - 375 Rave Review was slow to begin and recovered well to finish 2nd. Golden Day Star slipped at the start, lost 3 lengths and was always at the rear thereafter. Watch My Freckle and Flash Wink came together at the start with Flash Wink being checked. Nearing the first turn Mr Gulliver ran inwards and checked Sixteen Gauge. Watch My Freckle was tightened and checked on the first turn. Thrilling Kelly (N.Udy). Sore right shoulder on flexion, extension and digital pressure on joint. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 6 days stand down to and including 07.11.05.
Race 5 CAMBRIDGE MAIDEN - HEAT 2 - C0q - 457 Heat 1 Distinctly Roys and Sudoku Solver were the slowest to begin. Dreams Are Free ran inwards at the start and checked Distinctly Roys. Nearing the first turn Sudoku Solver moved outwards, came together with Distinctly Roys and checked itself. Nearing the first turn Suitability moved outwards sharply and severely checked Thrilling Bonny which recovered well to finish 2nd. On the first turn Hey Zeus was galloped on and severely checked from behind by Distinctly Roys.
Race 6 DINSDALE TAVERN DASH - C1 - 375 Astro Sharrie and Harmoneyes came together for a stride at the start with Astro Sharrie being slightly checked. On the home turn Nadal moved inwards, came together with Pitter Patter which consequently lost it's balance, fell heavily and caused severe checks to El Paso Princess and Harmoneyes which lost all chance A post race veterinary examination of Pitter Patter detected an injury requiring a stand down from racing. Pitter Patter (D.W.Mathews). Concussed due to fall during race and sore right hip support. Rule 329. 14 days up to and including 16.11.05.
Race 7 CAMBRIDGE MAIDEN - HEAT 3 - C0q - 457 Heat 1 Maggy Jay ran inwards at the start and hampered Delability for a stride. Thrilling Maggie ran outwards at the start and hampered Rourkes Drift for a stride. Jo Bloggs moved inwards after 50 mtrs and checked Andwyn. Sable Gold raced very wide for most of the race and faded to finish 7th. Entering the first turn Thrilling Maggie when vying for the lead, moved inwards and checked itself and Aranui Flash. Sable Gold and Delability came together for a stride on the home turn. Delability ran very wide on the bend. Aranui Flash moved outwards slightly in the home straight and hampered Andwyn slightly for a stride. Fortified Rush - Selection error - Club scratching- No penalty.
Race 8 IMPROVERS DASH - C1 - 375 Jimmitom reared as the boxes opened, lost 3 lengths and made up some ground to finish 6th. Tightening at the start resulted in severe checks to Roulette Reason and Bubba Hotep. A post race veterinary examination of Roulette Reason detected no injury. Hello Sailor raced very wide throughout and was hampered for a stride in the home straight.
Race 9 GRANDVIEW SPORTS BAR SPRINT - C1/2 - 375 Hove Dale was hampered at the start and then ran very wide on the home turn. Charlston Flash move outwards at the start and severely checked itself and Bonza Bill. Nearing the home turn Bonza Bill faltered, appeared to be injured and dropped out. Nikkei was checked in this incident. A post race veterinary examination of Bonza Bill detected an injury resulting in euthanasia. Charlston Flash moved outwards on the home turn and severely checked Homebush Snippet. Bonza Bill (G.A.Lawrence). Fractured right hock. Euthanased.
Race 10 CAMBRIDGE MAIDEN - HEAT 4 - C0q - 457 Heat 1 Lord Maximus, Auditor's Folly and Mochaccino were the slowest to begin. Calm Osti and Sun Of Jonelle came together twice for a stride prior to the first turn. Auditor's Folly ran inwards on the home turn and hampered Mochaccino. Tussy (P.Raven). Seasonal condition. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 258.3.30 days up to and including 01.12.05. Thrilling Dingo (L.Jury). Advice received from Trainer that this greyhound has been officially retired. Rule 257.1. 30 days up to and including 02.12.05.
Race 11 TAUWHARE STAKES - C1 - 457 Goodrem and Thrilling Gus were the slowest to begin. Bonified and Tandias Girl raced tightly for several strides prior to the first turn. Destiny's Run was hampered entering the home straight. Baltasar (W.Steele). Sore left hip support on palpation. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 6 days up to and including 07.11.05. Hostile Girlie (G.A.Lawrence). Trainer questioned. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 257.1. 30 days up to and including 02.12.05. (Registration papers to be presented to Stipendiary Steward for endorsement). Never Home (T.McGillivray). Gained a start in Race 1.
Race 12 TAMAHERE STAKES - C1 - 457 Super Deal, Rockwell Reason and Colonel Hogan were the slowest to begin. Thrilling Cullen moved outwards entering the first turn and checked Gentle Lee. Gentle Lee ran outwards on the home turn and checked Colonel Hogan.
Race 13 HILLCREST TAVERN STAKES - C3 - 375 This race started 1 minute late due to a request from TAB Trackside. Jack Rhode drifted on the first turn and showed no improvement. Thrilling Tiger (K.Walsh). Sore left wrist on flexion. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 6 days up to and including 08.11.05.
Race 14 RACEWAY STAKES - C4/5 - 457 Bevron Road and Faraday Bale were the slowest to begin. He's Off ran inwards at the start resulting in checks to itself, Big Teddy Boy and Prince Toshack. More Gold was slightly checked after 50 mtrs.
Race 15 T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C2/3 - 457 Thrilling Hugo became loose momentarily in the parade ring and underwent a further veterinary examination prior to race commencement. The Veterinary Surgeon declared this runner fit to race and the Handler was advised to ensure that he has more control in future. Charlston Kid was the slowest to begin. Ash's Assassin was tightened slightly on the first turn. Togetherness and Thrilling Hubba were hampered slightly on the first turn. Thrilling Hubba ran out sharply off the rail on the home turn and severely checked Togetherness.
