OUT COLD moved in on the bend and made contact with JAZZMAN and they lost momentum for a couple of strides. | Race 2 | METEOR OFFICE PRODUCTS SPRINT - C1/2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH STEVE raced the previous day, finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. The examining Vet at this meeting was advised of that fact and asked to go over the dog thoroughly and he cleared HOMEBUSH STEVE to run. The dog again tailed the field home by several lengths and was clearly sore. He was again examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with quadricep swelling. MAGIC EBONY was tightened against the rail on the first turn and dropped back several lengths and stayed back. THRILLING MONTY then ran into the back of another runner on the final bend and eventually finished in 2nd last place. |

| Race 5 | GRAND HOTEL '305' - C1 - 305 | PEPPERONNI was scratched due to injury. HOMEBUSH MAX was very slow to begin losing several lengths. He then made up ground well to finish in 5th place. SATARA and HAMMER MY HEART bumped together for several strides in the run down the back straight and they were back near the rear on the first turn. HAMMER MY HEART recovered to run on for 3rd while SATARA stayed back and finished last.. HOLAH A HYPO and MADAME RHODE bumped together two or three times early in the race but they recovered well to finish 2nd and 3rd. | Race 8 | HEADS ROAD VETERINARY FEATURE - C2f - 520 | The two favourites FUNNY GIRL and SCOTTAGO both began a little awkwardly and settled towards the rear. SCOTTAGO then made contact with the hind quarters of RED FOX CREEK on the first corner and lost further ground which he was unable to make up and he finished 4th. FUNNY GIRL recovered a little better and finished in 3rd place. |
