Judicial report: Weather: Rain Race 1. A 'hard to box' classification was granted to Nadal (B & L Craik) following previous assessment of this greyhound's boxing manners.

Race 5. High Fever (F.D.Farmer) was a late scratching under Rule 269.3 due to a 1.8kg weight variance and the mandatory penalty of $100.00 fine was imposed and accepted by the trainer.

Race 1 WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE STAKES - C1 - 457 Nadal was boxed first due to a current 'hard to box' classification. Nadal, Ona Run and Shellsal were the slowest to begin. Nearing and entering the first turn Shellsal and Airfield Rush came together several times with both being checked.
Race 2 T.A.B. PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE SPRINT - C1 - 375 King Of Dreams was very slow to begin. Entering the first turn Hostile Girlie and Prince Flex came together then Summertime Lad galloped on the heels of Prince Flex which was checked. Bubba Hotep ran very wide in the home straight and carted Just Hasty to the outside of the track. King Of Dreams and Summertime Lad also ran very wide on the home turn and remained wide to the finish.
Race 3 RACEWAY DASH - C2 - 375 Togetherness ran inwards and Hove Dale outwards at the start causing tightening and checks to Jumbo Flash, Kalkaringi and Hove Dale. Entering the first turn Hove Dale and Kalkaringi came together for several strides. First Sample was denied racing room on the first turn. Lindale Express and Foreign Diplomat ran wide into the home straight and remained wide to the finish. Kalkaringi (W.Steele). Left hock strain, Left hip support soreness and right hind biceps muscle injury. Rule 329. 14 days up to and including 19.10.05. (Registration papers to be presented to Stipendiary Steward for endorsement).
Race 4 CAMBRIDGE MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 457 Richfield Reason and Thrilling Hugo were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Joebees Jet and Thrilling Tear came together for several strides. Thrilling Tear drifted slightly on the first bend and came back onto Joebees Jet which moved outwards as a result and checked Richfield Reason then nearing the home turn Joebees Jet ran outwards checking itself and Richfield Reason again. Our Jigsaw (I.D.Moore). Reserve. Rule 254. 100kms. No penalty.
Race 5 OCTOBER SPRINT - C2/3 - 375 Charlston Flash stumbled shortly after the start And lost a length. Entering the first turn Stock Broker, Kiwi Fire and Shooshla jostled with all three runners being checked. High Fever (F.D.Farmer). Late scratching. Weight variance 1.8kg. Rule 269.3. Mandatory penalty = $100 fine.
Race 6 HILLCREST TAVERN STAKES - C2/3 - 457 Baltasar and Parra Power were the slowest to begin. Danny Hand and Origin Teddy came together for a stride after the start with both being checked. Nearing the first turn Four Square and Dyna Sandra jostled for several strides. Baltasar ran wide on the home turn and lost valuable ground at a crucial stage of the race.
Race 7 MATANGI STAKES - C2 - 457 Charlston Kid was very slow to begin. Thrilling Hubba and Charmaine Bale came together after 30 mtrs. Entering the first turn general tightening resulted in severe checks to Brandalyn Bale and Charmaine Bale. Coach Purdon was tightened and checked slightly by Charmaine Bale on the bend.
Race 8 DINSDALE TAVERN DASH - C4/5 - 375 Final Objective, Maxi The Taxi and Mr Pollywaffle were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Southbrook Star and Spring Storm jostled with Spring Storm being severely checked resulting in it moving outwards and galloping on the heels of Marissa Bale and also checking Mr Pollywaffle which was racing on Spring Storm's outer. On the bend Marissa Bale moved outwards and checked Spring Storm then shortly after Southbrook Star ran outwards and checked Marissa Bale. Final Objective and Bob Allen ran very wide on the home turn and lost valuable ground at a crucial stage of the race.
Race 9 MORRINSVILLE STAKES - C1 - 457 Never Home was the slowest to begin. Astro Sharrie ran inwards after the start and caused general tightening and severe checks to itself, Our Freddie, Harmoneyes, Deniable and Rockwell Reason. Harmoneyes raced wide for most of the race.
Race 10 TE RAPA TAVERN STAKES - C4 - 457 More Gold and I'm Wishing came together for a stride after the start.
