Judicial report: Weather: Showery Race 3. Following a request from L.Craik, joint trainer of Nadal for a 'Hard to Box' assessment on this greyhound the boxing manners were observed and reported not to be unduly difficult. A further assessment will be conducted on the next occasion it races.

Race 7. The extraction of Hove Dale (A.Cleaver) off the lure at the conclusion of the race was monitored and reported to be difficult. Mr Cleaver had applied to and obtained an exemption from the Judicial of the Waikato GRC to catch this greyhound himself until further notice.

Race 8. Waitaha Rua (E.J.Bright) was observed not to race with due commitment and is to complete a Satisfactory Trial under Rule 179.1 prior to nomination. The fact that this race was the first for this greyhound on the Cambridge track was taken into consideration.

Race 9. Ona Run (D.L.Annette) was observed not to have a catcher at the conclusion of the race and ran free on the track before being apprehended by another catcher.
The trainer was requested by the Judicial Steward to contact the Stipendiary Steward but failed to do so. Consequently a charge against Mrs Annette was laid with the Waikato GRC Judicial Committee (A.Booth) under Rules 135.1 and 135.10. Due to D.L.Annette having left the race meeting the hearing was opened and adjourned until 30.09.05.

Race 14. Trainer , D.Schofield was observed to run back from the 375 mtr start to catch his greyhound Time Over Boots without permission. Consequently a charge under Rule 135.1 was laid against Mr Schofield with the Waikato GRC Judicial Committee (A.Booth).
Following a guilty plea and explanation from Mr Schofield the Judicial Committee decided not to impose a penalty or fine on this occasion and undertook to refer the matter to the full Committee of the Waikato GRC.

Super Deal (4th) and Astro Sharrie came together after the start resulting in checks to both. Astro Sharrie and Thrilling Match ( favourite and 2nd) jostled for two strides after 55 mtrs. |
| Race 3 | T.A.B. PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE DASH - C1 - 375 | Jimmitom (favourite and 3rd) and King Of Dreams came together after the start resulting in checks to both runners. As a result of tightening and resulting interference on the first turn all runners with the exception of Miamigo (winner) were severely checked. Pitter Patter was also galloped on from behind and almost fell in this widespread incident. A veterinary examination of Pitter Patter detected no injury. |
| Race 4 | DUNEDIN DASH - C0 - 375 | Bullet Blue, Ngapuhi Girl and Coruba Sun were the slowest to begin. Coruba Sun ran inwards after the start and jostled with Ngapuhi Girl until the first turn. Entering the first turn Prince Flex (favourite and winner) moved inwards sharply to the rail and severely checked itself, Boldben Flash (4th) and Big Archie (2nd) in the process. |
| Race 5 | IMPROVERS STAKES - HEAT 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 | El Paso Princess ran outwards shortly after the start and severely checked itself, Deniable, Harmoneyes and Charlie Cash (4th). Charlie Cash ran outwards in the home straight and came together with Hello Sailor for a stride checking itself at a crucial stage of the race. Gentle Lee (K.Sutch-Jones). Bite requiring surgery. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 30 days up to and including 12.10.05 Frosty's Special (P.Green). Reserve 100km Rule 254. Hello Sailor (C.J.Morris). Limping post race with left wrist soreness on flexion. Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 24.09.05. |
| Race 6 | SOLWAY SPRINT - C0 - 375 | Utiku Mr Foo (4th) stumbled at the start and lost 2 lengths. Wairangi Bay and Maggy Jay (2nd) were slow to begin. Papaka (favourite and 5th) ran inwards after the start and collided with Wairangi Bay. Its What Uno ran inwards after the start and checked Glorias Mate. Entering the first turn Airfield Fog (winner) endeavoured to move inwards resulting in severe checks to itself and all other runners. Wairangi Bay ran very wide on the home turn covered extra ground and finished 7th. Watch My Freckle. Hip support soreness and back discomfort. Vet certificate supplied. | Race 7 | DINSDALE DASH - C2 - 375 | Tee Bone was the slowest to begin. Boot's Last endeavoured to move outwards after 25 mtrs causing tightening and checks to itself Jumbo Flash and Velvot Revolver. As a result of general tightening on the first turn Boot's Last, Jumbo Flash and Tee Bone were all checked. |
| Race 8 | MANUKAU MAIDEN - C0 - 457 | Waitaha Rua and Dumblestick (3rd) came together for a stride after the start. Entering the first turn Dumblestick moved outwards taking the path of and checking Niagara Cresent. Dumblestick then endeavoured to move outwards again but was prevented from doing so by Thrilling Hugo racing on it's outer however Thrilling Hugo then became unbalanced and fell heavily. A veterinary examination detected no injury. Waitaha Rua raced wide for most of the race and it's racing manners showed no due commitment at times during the race and in particular the home straight. |
| Race 9 | TOKOROA SPRINT - C1 - 375 | Utiku Rocks and Mr Horatio came together for a stride after the start. Davron Lass (4th) ran very wide on the home turn and covered extra ground A post race veterinary examination of Ona Run detected no injury. |
| Race 10 | MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 457 | Richfield Reason (2nd) and Mr Utiku were slow to begin. Cowboy Dreamer and Richfield Reason came together for a stride after the start. Mr Utiku ran very wide on the home turn and finished at the rear. |
| Race 11 | KARAPIRO STAKES - C2 - 457 | Secret Teddy (2nd) moved outwards slightly after the start causing minor tightening to Kalkaringi (5th), Upahut Rose and Dancing Bohemian. Nearing the first turn Thrilling Hubba moved outwards causing tightening and checks to Secret Teddy and Kalkaringi. Candy Coated (B & L Craik). Late scratching. Right hind leg soreness and sore medial calf muscle. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 24.09.05. |

| Race 13 | TAYLOR ROAD STAKES - C2/3 - 457 | Thrilling Dash (favourite and 6th), Emilie One and Franny Hall (4th) were the slowest to begin. Franny Hall remained very wide until the first turn. Emilie One ran inwards to the rail after 30 mtrs severely checking itself and Thrilling Dash. Thrilling Sassy (N.Udy). Reported diarrhoea and treatment with scourban. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 6 days up to and including 19.09.05. |
| Race 14 | RACEWAY SPRINT - C2/3 - 375 | Foreign Diplomat drifted to the rear shortly after the start and made up ground to finish 5th. Follow The Trend was denied racing room for several strides on entering the first turn. Lindale Express (6th) was denied racing room on the home turn when at the rear. |
| Race 15 | SUPERIOR GREYHOUND FORMULA STAKES - C4/5 - 457 | Raheny Reason and Charlston State (favourite and 5th) were slowest to begin. Entering the first turn He's Off endeavoured to move inwards severely checking itself, Willandra Bale and Charlston State which almost fell. Charlston State ran outwards on the home turn and severely checked Fancy Bonnie and Willandra Bale. |
