Race 2	WANGANUI SECURITY MAIDEN STAKES - C0 - 520	FLOSSY BOOTS and the favourite THRILLING LARISA were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and this ruined their chance of a placing. RAVEN LOU moved out entering the back straight and checked MARIOS MATE who went back to last and never recovered.
Race 3	RUSH HIRE SPRINT - C4 - 305	Both races 2 and 3 were delayed by one minute at the request of the T.A.B. LA ROKO was very slow to begin and never recovered, finishing well back. B.Cole the trainer of the winner JESSTA LARRIKIN was charged under Rule 134 (10) with a breach of Rule 377 (2) and elected to admit the charge and was fined $ 400-00.
Race 4	METEOR PRINTERS '305' - C2 - 305	SHES HOME SOON was scratched due to injury. SAILAH JAYNE was checked on the bend and went back onto FIRST SAMPLE. SAILAH JAYNE recovered to run 3rd but FIRST SAMPLE stayed back and finished in last place. SHES HOME SOON I.Moore Rule 259 Has a toe injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 22.09.05.
Race 5	KEENAN CONCRETE '520' - C2/3 - 520	RED FOX CREEK and RUSHED AFFAIR collided on the first corner and lost ground. Soon after ASTRO NERONE and RUSHED AFFAIR made contact and lost momentum for a few strides.
Race 6	DISPLAY ASSOCIATES DASH - C3 - 305	RALPH was checked on the first corner and went back to last. Soon after LORD PLACARD, KINAWHATA FLYER and HIGH FEVER came together and were checked and lost ground.
Race 7	STEEL STRUCTURES '520' - C4/5 - 520	KANE BALE, JANE DOE and DALLAS MAJOR were checked entering the back straight, went back to the rear and stayed back to the finish.
Race 8	EXCEED DISTANCE FEATURE - C1d - 645	The race was all clear.
Race 9	GRAND HOTEL SPRINT - C4/5 - 305	DYNA ROPATI, BLACK ALLEGRO, CORDU BALE and ALLEGRO BEAM jostled together for several strides in the race to the first corner and all lost ground and any chance of a placing.
Race 10	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY STAKES - C2 - 520	MCMURDO was scratched due to an injured toe. General tightening soon after the start was caused by runners drawn wide moving across and as a result THRILLING GUY was badly checked and fell but was not injured. BIGTIME JENNY was checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and stayed well back throughout. MCMURDO O.Marron Rule 259 Has a toe injury and stood down for 30 days to and including 13.10.05.
