Race 1	AUTO AUCTIONS STAKES - C1 - 525	ARANUI MIST was away well but was checked on the first turn when SHELLSAL moved in to the rail and never recovered finishing in 6th place. One of the favourites THRILLING FLOSS settled near the rear and wide and stayed back to finish last.
Race 2	SPICERS PAPER DASH - C1 - 295	Tightening on the first corner resulted in checks to UNO MY DAD, SHEEZA CORKA and HOMEBUSH MAX and they filled the last three places at the finish.
Race 3	SIX PACK STAKES - C3/4 - 525	JUDYANNE BALE was checked on the home turn and lost momentum but then recovered to run on for 3rd place.
Race 4	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 525	INDICATIVE and THRILLING WENDY collided on the first bend and lost some ground. OROUA ROCKER was last into the first corner and then ran very wide from there to the finish and tailed the field home by several lengths.
Race 5	EL CHEAPO CARS - C1 - 295	WOW BOW and HOMEBUSH HORSE jostled together for a few strides in the race to the first corner and they lost momentum and finished in the last two places.
Race 6	CUSTOMS AGENTS WELLINGTON - C2 - 295	The race was all clear.
Race 7	DISTANCE STAKES - C1d - 758	BONNIE CREEK moved out in the race to the first corner and jostled ARANUI GOLD, MISS BLUE VELVET and TARTAN FLYER who all lost some ground. CLYDEBANK and DUSTY NERO bumped together for several strides in the race around the 2nd bend and they lost several lengths as a result.
Race 8	ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C2 - 525	MCMURDO was a late scratching when found to have vomitted in its kennel. BIGTIME JENNY moved in entering the back straight and checked DANCING BANSHEE who dipped and went back to last and never recovered, finishing in 2nd last place. MCMURDO O.Marron Rule 259 A late scratching when found to have vomitted with traces of blood evident. Stood down for 5 days to and including 12.09.05.
Race 9	'GET OUT' DASH - C3 - 295	The field caught the lure just past the 1st corner and the runners were examined by the vet and cleared for a restart. The lure was run and checked and the start was made 8 minutes late but the field again caught the lure and the race was abandoned.
Race 10	'GET OUT' DASH - C3 - 295	RALPH and BOSSY ACE bumped together on the first corner but they recovered well to go on and finish 1st and 2nd.
