Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Race 10. Trainer, S.C.Mann, was again questioned regarding the recent transfer of 'Bevron Road' to his kennels and warned in relation to the requirements under Rules 377.5 and 396.2. A lease agreement / trainer change had been registered with the NZGRA by Mr Mann in relation to this greyhound, prior to this race meeting. On-course patrons and TAB Trackside viewers were advised of the change several times, prior to the race, due to the racebook not showing updated information.

Race 1 JIMBOS PETFOOD DASH - C1 - 318 There was no head-on coverage of this race available from TAB Trackside. Miss MacSteele was the slowest to begin. Tandias Girl and Billy Hove came together for a stride on the bend with Tandias Girl being checked prior to moving inwards to a rail position.
Race 2 STREETS ICE CREAM MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 527 Triway and Rockwell Reason were the slowest to begin. On the first turn Thrilling Gus moved outwards checking Hey Zeus. Shortly after Thrilling Scruff moved outwards and collided with Thrilling Gus resulting in both runners being severely checked. Sable Gold (K.W.Symes). Reserve 100 km Rule 254. No Penalty.
Race 3 RADIO TRACKSIDE SPRINT - FINAL - C1f - 318 Bubba Hotep's hind legs slipped on leaving the starting boxes resulting in this runner losing 6 lengths, never recovering and finishing last. Entering the first turn Tiger Time (3rd) moved outwards across the heels of Supreme Paragon and checked itself slightly. Jumbo Flash (4th) moved outwards and clipped the heels of Supreme Paragon on the bend causing a check to that runner and itself. Jumbo Flash then moved to a wider running position in the home straight and covered extra ground as a result.
Race 4 WWW.EXPOSURES.CO.NZ - WEBSITE HOSTING DASH - C1/2 - 318 Nikkei, Hypo Lomu and Rumpole came together on the bend resulting in severe checks to Hypo Lomu and Rumpole. These three runners continued to jostle for most of the bend. Hypo Lomu and Rumpole came together twice nearing and on the home turn. Nikkei changed ground to a wider running position entering the home straight. Hang On Mate (D.M.Smith). Club scratching. No Penalty. (Registration papers and race record card to be presented to Stipendiary Steward for endorsement). Forever Running (S.P.Clark). Interdigital spike / soreness. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 16.09.05.
Race 5 CAROL'S TAB PICK 6 STAKES - C1 - 527 Under Time (2nd) and El Paso Princess were the slowest to begin. Davron Express, Tempest Will (3rd) and Tourist Jack (winner) came together after the start with Tempest Will being checked. Shortly after Davron Express and El Paso Princess collided with both runners being severely checked. Music Lesson (R.P.O'Regan). Lacerations to both hind legs. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259.3. 30 days up to and including 05.10.05.
Race 6 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C2/3 - 318 Lindale Express and Goldfinger Jewel came together for a stride after the start. Foreign Diplomat and Kaimai Gold came together for a stride after 25 mtrs. Entering the first turn Foreign Diplomat moved outwards causing severe checks to Lindale Express, Kaimai Gold and to a lesser extent Goldfinger Jewel. On the bend Kaimai Gold galloped on the heels of Foreign Diplomat with both runners being severely checked.
Race 7 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING STAKES - C2 - 527 Thrilling Guy and Certainly came together after the start with both being slightly checked. Entering the first turn Tent Top (5th) and Cosmic Eclipse (3rd) came together with Tent Top being hampered for a couple of strides. Entering the first turn Thrilling Sassy (winner) and Thrilling Guy (4th) jostled for several strides and then continued to do so until reaching the back straight.
Race 8 NORTHERN DIGITAL PHOTOFINISH STAKES - C2/3 - 527 Southern Eclipse and Time Solves (2nd) were slow to begin. Danny Hand reared as the starting box lids opened and lost a length. Entering the first turn Danny Hand and Southern Eclipse came together for several strides. Danny Hand was denied racing room on the bend.
Race 9 THORNTON AUCTIONS DASH - C5 - 318 Maxi The Taxi (2nd), Spring Storm and Dalhunty Bale were the slowest to begin. Spring Storm and Dalhunty Bale came together for several strides after the start. Tarrah and Gold Strike (4th) came together after the start with Tarrah being checked. Nearing the first turn Nasty Streak moved outwards and Maxi The Taxi inwards causing Tarrah to be tightened and all three runners to be checked. Tarrah and Dalhunty Bale ran wide on the bend. Spring Storm ran outwards on the home turn.
Race 10 MANUKAU SIX PACK STAKES - C4 - 527 The start of this race was delayed for approximately 3 minutes in order to allow Officials to clear and control wild ducks from the back straight area of the track. Awesome Cole and Shining Comet were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Willandra Bale and Entrepreneur (winner) came together with both runners being checked. Rialto Reason (2nd) and Shining Comet ran wide on the first turn with the latter making up a lot of ground for 3rd.
