NGAPUHI WAHINE continued out and forced ASTROS LUCK, KAITOKE PRINCESS and GUS THE BUILDER very wide around the bend and they lost all chance. DUSTYS REWARD moved out starting on the bend and checked ASTROS LUCK who lost several lengths. |

One of the favourites MOVIE MAN was forced to race wide throughout from box 8 and he finished well back. KRACKER moved out entering the back straight and checked THRILLING WENDY. The eventual winner CALL ME CUTE moved in when starting on the final bend and checked KRACKER who was attempting an inside gap. |

| Race 12 | ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C3/4 - 525 | The box lids opened a few metres before the arrival of the lure but the field pulled up quickly,were examined by the Vet and cleared to run. The race was started four minutes late and went off without incident. |
| Race 13 | CUSTOMS AGENTS WELLINGTON - C4 - 295 | One of the favourites TURBO ROYALE was away well but dropped back in the race to the first corner, was observed not to be galloping correctly and finished several lengths last. The Vets examination showed that the dog had suffered a leg injury and was stood down for 7 days. TURBO ROYALE R & L Bell Rule 329 Suffered a leg injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 07.09.05. |
