Judicial report: Weather: Fine Race 4. Thrilling Mike (K.Walsh). The trainer's representative on-course, L.Philips, was questioned regarding the late scratching of this greyhound and the extent of his awareness of the condition prior to the race. His explanation was accepted.

Race 1	DAFFODIL DAY DASH - C0 - 318	Giggilo Gee Jay and Papaka were slowest to begin. Sun Of Jonelle and Papaka came together for a stride after the start. Sun Of Jonelle ran wide on the first turn and checked Papaka. Dreams Are Free was observed to make contact with the running rail on the bend. A post race veterinary examination detected no injury. Dreams Are Free and Papaka came together for a stride on the home turn.
Race 2	STREETS ICECREAM MAIDEN STAKES - HEAT 1 - C0q - 527 Heat 1	Thrilling Gus, Lord Maximus and Cowboy Dreamer were slow to begin then came together after 60 mtrs with all three suffering checks. Nassirina ran inwards at the start and hampered Lord Maximus momentarily. Cowboy Dreamer and Lord Maximus collided on the first turn with both being severely checked. Bonnie Token (J.R.Udy). Spiking and bruising to right front leg and toe. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 03.09.05.
Race 3	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DASH - C0 - 318	Watch My Freckle, Im The Boss and Coruba Storm were slow to begin. Coruba Sun ran inwards at the start and came together with Im The Boss. Entering the first turn Zingle, Niagara Cresent, Im The Boss and Coruba Sun were involved in interference resulting in severe checks to all of these runners and Im The Boss falling heavily with Zingle galloping over the top of it. A post race veterinary examination of Im The Boss detected a broken leg and was euthanased. Im The Boss (C.J.Derecourt). Fractured right radius and ulnar. Euthanased.
Race 4	STREETS ICECREAM MAIDEN STAKES - HEAT 2 - C0q - 527 Heat 1	Thrilling Mike was a late scratching at the starting boxes on veterinary advice due to illness requiring a 5 day stand down from racing. Sable Collar was slow to begin, did not improve at any stage and remained at the rear throughout finishing a distant last. A post race veterinary examination detected no injury and Trainer K.W.Symes was advised that the race performance was unsatisfactory and the next performance will be closely monitored. Thrilling Mike (K.Walsh). Late scratching. Diarrhoea prior to start of race and underwent pre race veterinary examination. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 30.08.05.
Race 5	RADIO TRACKSIDE SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	King Of Dreams was slow to begin. King Of Dreams and Davron Express jostled each other several times prior to the first turn. Just Curly was denied racing room on the first turn and drifted slightly. Harmoneyes moved outwards on the bend and severely checked itself, King Of Dreams and Davron Express.
Race 6	RADIO TRACKSIDE SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	Our Shereena was slow to begin. Entering the first turn Black Tyler and Super Deal came together with both being slightly checked. Black Tyler ran very wide on the home turn when racing at the rear.
Race 7	DENNY'S DASH - C1 - 527	Just The Don, Under Time and Ona Run were the slowest to begin. Entering the first turn Music Lesson galloped on the heels of Coach Purdon with both being severely checked. Last Account (B & L Craik). Right hind toe soreness, bruising and swelling. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 03.09.05.
Race 8	RADIO TRACKSIDE SPRINT - HEAT 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	Shortly after the start the entire field with the exception of Billy Hove and Thrilling Flynn were involved in general tightening resulting in checks. Entering the first turn Deniable and Peter Hand came together when at the rear of the field resulting in checks to both.
Race 9	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C2 - 318	Jimmitom was slow to begin and ran inwards sharply. Entering the first turn Just Hast, Comical Ali and Tempest Will came together with all three being checked. Shortly after Comical Ali ran very wide resulting in Tempest Will clipping it's heels, being severely checked and losing all chance. Sister Saintly and Don Paulie came together for a stride on the home turn. Jimmitom made contact with the hind quarters of Sister Saintly shortly after turning for home.
Race 10	EGH INTERNET GREYHOUNDS STAKES - C2 - 527	Tourist Jack was slow to begin. Thrilling Fella and Thrilling Alice came together for a stride on the first turn with the latter being checked.
Race 11	CAROL'S TAB DASH - C3/4 - 318	Kiwi Fire was slow to begin. Kaimai Gold and Jack Rhode came together for a stride after the start. Kaimai Gold ran wide on the bend.
Race 12	ALL BLACKS STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Romberg Reason was slow to begin. Raheny Reason moved outwards on the first turn causing a slight check to Time Solves. On the first bend Romberg Reason endeavoured to extract itself from a tight spot amongst other runners by moving outwards sharply through a gap in the field. In doing so it took the path of and collided with Shining Comet which fell heavily. Rialto Reason tried to take evasive action from the fallen runner but was severely checked and lost all chance. A post race veterinary examination of Shining Comet detected no injury.
